Charmed: Book One

Chapter Three:

My hands were shaking. I was terrified of what inside of Ravenwood. "Don't be scared. I'll walk you to class, ok?" "......Th-Thank you," I replied. Having Elizi by my side boosted my confidence. I took a deep breath and walked into Ravenwood. Before I could get a good look around, I saw Harmony and Anmiè scurrying to catch up with us. "Elizi! Usagi! Wait!" Elizi stopped in her tracks and waited for the girls. "We want to show Usagi around Ravenwood too!" My confidence boosted even more. I knew that this would be a good year.
"This is the cafeteria, and this is the office..." Elizi's voice droned out of my mind. I was too caught up in my own fantasies and ran into someone. "Hey! Watch where you're going, dumbass! I'm trying to walk here, " the girl said with an angry glare. Her black hair was pulled back into a high pony tail. She wore star earrings and a moon necklace. Her black eyes pierced through my soul. She could read my emotions like a book. "Great, my first screw up. Isn't this wonderful?" I held out my hand to help the girl up, but she smacked it away violently. "Sweetheart, are you ok," Anmiè said, her eyes filled with worry. "Y-Yeah. Just a little bump, that's all." The other girl got up with a huff and hurried off in the other direction. "W-Who was that?" "That's Luna. She doesn't talk often. I'm surprised by her outburst mostly," said Elizi. The world was turning around me. Every breath I took, I lost a bit of my balance. "Hey, are you ok," Harmony said, looking concerned. "Sweetheart needs to see the nurse. I'll take her since I believe we both have the same first period. You two go to class." Said Anmiè. "Okay. We'll meet up at lunch. We'll see you later, ok Usagi?" "O.....Ok," I said, as the world darkened around me.
When I woke up, I saw that I was in what seemed to be a nurse's office. "Sweetheart! You're awake!" I looked over and saw Anmiè by my side. "Where.....am I?" "You passed out so I brought you to the nurse." "Is Usagi awake? I have her potion, ice pack, and tardy slip ready for her!" I looked over to see a young, perky girl holding a clipboard. Her hair was short and blonde. Her eyes were blue and welcoming. She wore floral accessories and a name tag that read "Sirona". I looked at Anmiè, who remained perfectly calm. "Is that the nurse?" She laughed. "No, silly! That's Sirona. She's the nurse's assistant. She's also in our first period!" "This is embarrassing. Having to have someone else heal me on my first day is dreading." She handed me a potion and an ice pack. "Take one sip of that potion every six hours to reduce swelling," she said. "Swelling? Oh no!" I reached up and rubbed my head. It was throbbing. Even a little tap irritated it. "Since I'm off now, want me to walk you to class," Sirona asked. "Oh, that's a splendid idea! Won't that be fun sweetheart?" I shook my head in agreement. We exited the nurse's office and made our way to D-26, first period.
