This is in Annie's point of view.
Ok so I'm in the hospital. I can't remember anything after Matthew saying, "I love you Annie May Williams. Don't forget that." I'm hooked up to so many machines and fluids that I can't count them all. And to top it all off my left knee still looks 3 times bigger than my right knee.
I wave one of the nurses down and ask, "Where's Matthew? I want Matthew. Can you get him for me?" The nurse walked out of the room. I assume that she's going to get Matthew.
While I wait on her to come back I get another doctor's attention and ask, "Do I have to have a surgery?" I felt like I was tumbling through space. I must be on some serious meds.
"Annie, you're going to have to have a surgery that allows us to put your knee back together." Dr. Evans tried to explain.
"No, I don't think my knee hurts too bad I think you just need to call off the surgery." I said.
"Miss. Williams, your knee doesn't hurt too bad now because your waist down is numb right now from your special medicine, and you will need to have the surgery if you ever want to play volleyball again." Dr. Evans said.
"No please call me Annie." I said in a loopy manner. After that Dr. Evans just sighed and walked away.
A familiar voice called out to me, "Annie I've missed having you around. I came as soon as I heard." This voice was not Matthew's. It was Houston's. Houston is my ex boyfriend and the starting quarterback on Lipton county's team. Freshman year, he cheated on me with our school's biggest butthole and head cheerleader, Missy. After I found out I told Matthew and we thought he knocked some since into the boy. Clearly not because he still has the nerve to come visit me right now.
"Houston, leave me alone. I hate you." I growled.
"Sweetie, you don't hate me. You miss me, and I wanted to say that I'm genuinely sorry for what I did." I tried to make me believe. His tricks didn't work on me anymore.
"Don't call me sweetie, yes I do hate you, not I don't miss you, and you and I both know that your sorrys will never make up for what you did to me." I said just as Matthew walked into the room. "Matthew!" I squealed.
"Annie! I missed you. How are you feeling? Why is this jerk in here?" He exclaimed.
"You tell me." I said.
"Houston, you better leave before you are in one of these beds." Matthew said as he got in Houston's face.
"Preferably Annie's." Houston said with a smirk on his face. Matthew had it with Houston. He pushed him right out the door, called a nurse over and said, "Don't ever let him in the same room as Annie. Got it?" The nurse nodded and walked away. I loved his protective big brother side. Actually I loved everything about him.
Dr. Evans tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Visiting hours are over you must go. You do have the option of staying at the hospital in the waiting room. Annie's surgery will be in the morning if you will still be here. Goodnight Mr. Collins." My doctor is so annoying like can I not get I minute to see my boyfriend.
Matthew walked over to me. Leaned over the bed and said, "I love you, Annie May Williams. Have a wonderful night. I'll come back before your surgery." And then he kissed me as I fell asleep.

HEYYYYY FRANSSSSS! So how's life? But let's just take a second (or however long you need) to all mentally punch Houston in the throat for cheating on Annie. But to the real point Matthew and Annie are now Mannie! So unless one of you can comment a better name they shall be Mannie. Don't forget to add to your reading list, vote, and comment your favorite holiday! Thank you!
