CHAPTER 8

"Vroom vroom"

It was finally time to leave the farm.
FINALLY.

I actually didn't mind it at this point. Laura was incredible nice to me...very welcoming. Lila was... loud but she didn't bother me as much that night.

I was just... happy to be out and ready to kick some robot ass!

We left extremely early that morning... like... 4 AM early.
Not what I would've preferred but we've gotta catch Ultron and stop him from making that body.

I got chosen to be on the team to find Ultron.
So, I went with Steve, Natasha and Clint and didn't have to stay behind with Bruce, Tony and Nick (Who left to go back to a base).
Goodie! I get to be part of the action!

We flew over to Dr. Cho's lab to try and see if the body was there. Clint let Steve off on the roof before flying off into the air.

"Two minutes. Stay close." Steve told him, walking to get inside the lab.

"What... like we were going to fly back?" I whispered to Natasha, causing her to smile slightly. We both stood over Clint's shoulder as the radio to hear Steve was up there.

A shout from Steve fans over to comm, "Dr. Cho!"

Oh no! Not the pretty doctor!
We could kind of hear her voice. She sounded weak as if she's on the verge of death.
"He's uploading himself into the body."

"Where?"

"The real power is inside the Cradle. The gem, its power is uncontainable. You can't just blow it up. You have to get the Cradle to Stark."

"First I have to find it."

"Go."

"Did you guys copy that?" Steve asked.

"We did." Clint replied doing some thing in the front seat like pressing buttons and crap.

Natasha moved back to another part on this ship to do some... looking?
I dunno. I stayed by Clint and kept looking out the window.
"I got a private jet taking off, across town, no manifest. That could be him." Natasha told Clint.

From my perspective, I could see a truck pulling out from the under passageway.
It came from the same direction of the lab.

Clint must have noticed too
"There. It's the truck from the lab. Right above you, Cap." Natasha looked over toward us. "On the loop by the bridge. It's them."
Clint looked down at some screen before pressing a few buttons to lock in a shooting thing, "I got three with the Cradle, one in the cab. I could take out the driver."

"Negative!" Steve responded quickly, "If that truck crashes, the gem could level the city. We need to draw out Ultron."

"That gem could do way more than level just the city." I mumbled walking away toward Natasha.
