"You don't want to be with me. I can promise you that."
Althea's words were thrown harshly into the air between us, confusng me even more then I already was.
"Why? Why wouldn't I want to be with you?"
"You don't know who I really am. If you did you'd be smart and run now." She told me, her eyes leaving mine and finding their way to the floor.
"Why don't you let me decide of I like who you really are then." I tried to parsuade her.
"You can't." My heart ached at her tone and words. I didn't know why she wouldn't let me in.
"Give me a reason." I stated stubbornly. I've never felt this way about some one and I wasn't going to loose it now.
"Because I can almost garentee that you'll end up dead."
