She's Dangerous (A Niall Horan FanFiction)

Chapter 10

*Niall's P.O.V.*

"W-what? Why?" I asked, pain appearing in my tone.

Why can't we be friends? Did I do something wrong?

"Look, I am not the girl you think I am. I have a dark past, a past that I wish I could wipe from my memory. But I can't. It will follow me anywhere. And as for my future, well thats uncertain. The only thing that is certain is that if we continue to see eachother my feelings are just going to grow and if that happens you will get hurt. You will become my weakness Niall. I can't afford any more weaknesses." Her explanation caused both joy and pain to arise.

Joy because well, she has feelings for me. Pain because she was regecting them, trying to push them away.

"What do you mean I will get hurt? Is there someone out there trying to hurt you?" I questioned, fear creeping up. What would happen if someone were trying to hurt her? I don't know what I'd do.

"Well, teir not exactly human per say-"

"What?"

"Nothing, nevermind. The point is, I can't put you in harms way. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to you because of me, or if something happened to the period...." Her voice quieted as she mumble the last part. Her sea green eyes dropping to the floor.

"Look, Althea, just tell me whos or what is trying to hurt you. Let me help you." I pleaded my hands clasping hers, bringing those gorgeous eyes back up to meet mine.

She stayed quiet for a moment, hope and longing filling her features before realization washed over. Her hands were ripped from my grasp and her presence was removed from in front of me. Instead she stood, a hand on her forhead and the other on her hip.

"No, no. You can't help me. It doesn't work like that. The only way you can help me, you and my family is if you stay away from us." Se spat. Her voice held anger but I saw right through it. She was acting. The words she was saying were said with pain, not fury.

"No." Was all I responded with. Raising to my full height, which towered a good 3 inches over her.

"What?" Althea seemed shocked by my defiance. Well, actually thats probably my fault. I almost never say no to anyone.

"I said no. I'm not going to leave here untill you tell me exactly whats going on." I stated, staring down at her confidently. Even I was suprised by my actions. I'm more of a people pleaser.

"I have four other guys in this house and trust me any one of them will kick your ass if I ask them." Again I saw through her tough facad. She was lying straight through her teeth. Well not about them being able to kick my ass, I don't doubt that for a second. But I knew she would never ask them too.

"You wouldn't." I replied calmly. My tancegrowing a bit taller. 

"You bet your ass I would." she spat. Damn, Shes persistant.

"You know you cuss when you lie." I noted. A smirk fighting to my lips.

"Well, thats a load of bullshi-sh-shitaki." Althea caught herself, eyes widening in realization. "Just shut up. I need you to leave."

"No you don't."

"Yes I do."

"No, you don't."

"Niall, yes I-" I cut her off, my lips meeting hers, hands traveling to her waist, pulling her body to mine.

She stayed stiff for a second, unresponsive to my touch. Regret started to form in the pit of my stomach.

'Oh god what am I doing? She doesn't want to kiss me. Why would she? She was just telling me to leave her alone.' Negative thoughts buzzed around my head.

Just as I was about to pull away, she responded. Appearently overcoming her shock.

Arms traveled up to wrap themselves around my neck as her lips moved in  sink with mine. A slight smile appeared on my lips.

The kiss soon grew more heated, my feet carrying both me and her to the back wall. My body pressed to hers, my tongue sliding along her bottom lip asking for entrance, which she granted. Immdiatley her tongue wrestled with mine, each of us fighting for dominance.

Eventually we both pulled away, gasping for air. Though our position stayed the same, her back pressed to the wall and my body pinning her there.

"See I told you, you don't want me to leave."
