The Outsiders: The Girls

The Girls

I'm just going to give a quick explanation of all the girls in The Outsiders for those who aren't exactly aware of them, since they aren't mentioned that much:

Sylvia: at the beginning of the book, Dally tells the gang that he caught her two timing (and not for this first time) so they broke up. It's implied that they have an on and off relationship. Also, she made some passes at Johnny while Dally was in reform school, but Steve was quick to put her in her place.

Kathy: she wasn't mentioned very much, but it can be inferred that she was Two Bit's current girlfriend. Pony says that he dates many blondes, and Two Bit said that the breaks went out in his car and almost killed him and Kathy. So, I guess you can see them either as good friends, or dating.

Sandy: we all know Sandy was Soda's former girlfriend, but she got pregnant with someone else and moved away. Soda planned on marrying her, so he truly did love and have deep feelings for her. Also, they would double date with Steve and his girlfriend.

Evie: she's Steve's girlfriend, and they double date with Soda and Sandy. It's said that when Steve got arrested, Evie cried so I think they have a good thing going between the two of em.

Angela: Tim and Curly's sister, and she is in That was Then This is Now. Angela, is described as tough and gutsy (she has to be I mean she's a Shepard) and it's mentioned that she liked Ponyboy, but he was too shy and not exactly interested.

Cherry: yeah, we all know who Cherry is

Marcia: yep, Cherry's friend at the Drive In, who was dating Randy.

So, if you didn't know exactly who they were before, I hope you do now! Honestly, they're some of the best characters imo, and I'll go more in depth about them later on.
Also, there's so much you can do with them because they're pretty much left for interpretation.
I'm working on drawing all of them, and then I'll describe their physical appearance, personality, relationships, and then random facts. After all that's done I'll start headcanons and one shots and all that. So stay tuned guys!
