C H A P T E R E L E V E N"THIS IS REYNA! I INVITED HER TO SIT WITH US!" Drew introduced Reyna to everyone at her table. The majority of the table look Reyna up and down, sizing her up as if wondering why a girl like her was hanging out with Drew. She only noticed one person that was seemingly familiar named Silena who was the head cheerleader.
Reyna seated herself on the table wondering where she should sit until a girl moved her binder and books off of a chair that was now empty. She seated herself down and sits her lunchbox on the cylinder shaped table.
"You're in the soccer team right?" The girl asked her with chestnut, brunette brown hair and monolith-brown eyes. Her eyes are set on Reyna's face and she started to feel uncomfortable with all this staring. Reyna had never met someone so open to looking at someone's face before.
"Yeah, offense." Reyna nodded her head, happy that someone seemed to be interested. "Do you play?"
The girl shook her head. "No, I wouldn't dare. I'd ruin my nails." and after that, the girl didn't speak another word to her which Reyna was fine with.
The table felt so foreign and unfamiliar compared to her original lunch table. While everyone was discussing about a pair of shoes they had bought for the party, Reyna munched on her sandwich that she had bought from the cafeteria. Drew exchanged with her a frown.
"Is that cafeteria food?" She asked her, wrinkling her nose as Reyna nodded her head, oblivious with the problem with that as it seemed to be for Drew that food from school was bad. Reyna wondered if that was a bad thing and her answer is answered as Drew speaks again.
Drew shook her head in horror. "No way! Here, have half of my lunch. Do you know how bad that is-even somewhat poisonous-for your health?"
"Poisoned?" Reyna rose an eyebrow, not believing a word she just said.
"They're not good for your face. Cafeteria food gives you wrinkles." Drew said matter-of-factually as if she were reading word to word from a cover of a magazine.
Reyna didn't argue as Drew took her sandwich and held her with one hand, throwing it in the trash can. When she came back, Drew squirted hand sanitizer in her hand and scrubbed her palms together.
"You're welcome," She told Reyna and Reyna replied back with a thank you.
Drew clasped her hands together. "Okay ladies! Who's excited for my party tonight?"
Selina. squealed."I'm so hyped. I've got my dress and shoes ready. Drew, I'm stopping by your house before we leave 'kay!"
"Yes, hun!" Drew grinned and turned her head to Reyna."I'll pick you up too for the party since this is your first party of mine."
"Yeah, I can't wait." Reyna exclaimed.
She nodded her head,"You're going to love it, trust me! My parents rented a hotel and everything. There's going to be music and food and well, everything!" Her face brightened.
Selina nodded her head, smiling at Reyna. "Last party was spectacular. Everyone ended up coming."
Drew rolled her eyes, smiling. "Well, not everyone but mostly everyone."
Reyna had heard enough about Drew to know her. Most people outside of Drew's group knew to stay away from her since she brought trouble whoever she went. Reyna didn't stick to rumors since she had her fair share of them so she didn't take their word from it. Drew seemed like an easy going girl and her friends seemed to like her so she mustn't be so bad as everyone thought she was. Yes, perfect but not evil.
