-Izzie-

The day Louis had left me all by myself; I decided not to cry over him or anyone else. They were no one to me, they didn’t care then why would I? All these expectations from your boyfriend only brings you hell lot of hurt and I wasn’t going to get hurt anymore, was not going to look back and cry. Right after Louis left, I went back to my friends but I was strong enough to hide my agony even though it was nearly killing me. They asked me about Louis but I ignored saying that it was just a stupid fight but Niall knew the truth about it, he kept giving me those sympathetic looks and all I did was smile. Two days later all of us were sitting in the plane, arguing about the window seats and only in two hours we were back in London. I had missed it so much.

“Feels good to be back.” I murmured, taking in the London air.

“Alright,” Niall whispered to me, “We would go back home for now and later in the evening we’ll go to the police station.” He said but I disagreed.

“What if Louis told her that I know, what if instead of breaking out of the jail on Sunday, she does it today? We have already wasted two days, but now we have to act faster than Marione.” I reasoned and Niall nodded.

“Um, guys we’ll be going to the uh hospital first, to get Izzie checked up so I guess, see you later?” Niall spoke nervously making me giggle.

“Okay.” Harry nodded and Ruth gave Niall a kiss before all of them went to a different direction than that of ours. In no time we reached the police station, thanks to our cab driver’s rash driving. My nerves were tingling from one end to another but I had to do it. Niall was nervous too, so I slipped my hand into his, squeezing it slightly.

“How can I help you?” The officer asked.

“We uh want to know if Marione is still behind the bars?” Niall asked and the cop eyed us suspiciously before telling a guy to go check on Marione. I couldn’t control the anxiety so instead of waiting for the guy to come back, I began telling the cop what all I knew. He seemed apprehensive about it at first but he decided that Marione would be under a twenty four hours supervision of a male cop. Feeling relieved, Niall and I went back to our homes. I knew that neither mom nor Joe would be there so I had the house to myself. Knackered, I decided to sleep for the meantime.

When I woke up, only an hour had passed. I wanted to meet Zayn but decided against it. Leaving a stick note on the refrigerator, I went to the park that was not too far from my house. I sat down on a swing and swayed my seat forward and backward slowly. Life would have been so simple, so much better if it wasn’t for Marione. I would’ve never lost Zayn or never would’ve met Louis either. But I guess life never wanted to see me smile, did it? Glaring at the ground below me, I kept swaying and thinking, so when a pair of black converse stepped right in front of me, I didn’t notice until the owner of those converse decided to sit down on the swing next to mine.

"Uh, hey.” He said and I snapped my head up to look at him.

“Hi?” I said, it was more of a question as I was unaware of the fact that how he found me here.

“How was Croydon?” He asked. I shrugged, “Peaceful. And what about The States?”

By this point he wasn’t looking at me, instead he was staring at the children playing in the sandbox in front of us. “It was good, if we exclude the part where I found Grace with some random guy in bed.” He scoffed, looking down at his shoes. I looked at him intently, trying to figure out what he was thinking; however a fresh scar on his face caught my eye. I squinted my eyes a little to see if I could figure out what caused that. He glanced over at me and then touched his scar with his index finger.
