Chapter 23 ~ Epilogue ~ Return to Earth

~October 15, 2013~

~Niall's POV~

For a week, we've been in Heaven together. Well, Liam, Mary, Zayn, Jef and me. Lucifer and Sophie had gone back to Hell to keep the demons under control. They didn't know what happened. They had wanted to kill some more angels.

Luckily now everything is under control. I've also heard that a lot of demons that caused trouble on Earth have been returned to Hell. Sickness has reduced.

The last week Zayn has learned me a lot. Believe me, it was no fun trying to learn how to fly. I don't like heights and he basically made me jump from a cliff. You don't want to know how loud I screamed when Mary pushed me.

The part where I had to learn how to control my powers was funnier for me. I don't get the black eyes like Zayn still gets. My eyes just become an inhuman bright blue.

I actually managed to knock Liam out during my training. I had to move a vase through the air by using my powers. Me being way too enthusiastic about my first training session managed to let the vase fly faster than required. It had hit Liam against his head. The poor lad was only looking at how I was doing.

Ever since that day, he hadn't shown up at the training anymore, which I understand completely.

Today is the day we return back to Earth. Me and Zayn had decided that we still wanted to live on earth and Lucifer had allowed us, saying he wanted nothing as the best for us, but he warned us not to tell the humans anything.

Liam and Mary did want to go with us too and luckily, Jef had allowed it with a big smile on his face. He had told us to be careful with our secret too.

I really want to go back. I miss Louis and Harry and my mum must be very worried. Yes, I have my Phone with me, but connection is shit in Heaven.

I take Zayn's hand in mine after we said our goodbyes to Jef. I stretch my wings wide and start flying a few centimeters above the ground.

"Let's go home." I say and Zayn nods.

From the corner of my eyes, I see Mary and Liam are preparing to go with us.

Then we start to fly home. The flight isn't as long as I remember it to be, but that's probably because I can fly now on my own and it goes a lot faster this way.

When we finally see my house from a distance, it's about 4 pm. As we get a bit closer, we can also see two more figures walking over the street.

Two familiar figures.

"Look! Ther are Louis and Harry!" Liam says and points at the couple.

Mary looks in the direction Liam is pointing to and smiles when she too sees our friends.

We have told her a lot about the two and she's been dying to meet them, always saying that she and Louis will be great prank buddies.

Immediately she moves away from our group with the words "Let's go say hi." And before we can stop her she's flying as fast as possible to the duo.

We might have been forgotten to tell her that they don't know anything about angels or demons yet.

Well, their ignorance won't last long anymore.

All I can do is watch as she flies to the two and lands in front of them.

I hear Louis' 'manly' scream from here before the rest of us flies closer too.

"Hello! You must be Louis and Harry! It's so nice to finally meet you guys. I've heard so much about you." Mary says and gives the still startled boys a tight hug. "My name is Mary. I'm Liam's childhood friend."
