Aphmau Phoenix feels she can never love again after her boyfriend Aaron Falconclaw was shot and killed in a deadly terrorist shooting in the city of Phoenix Drop. Over time she slowly becomes depressed. But she struggles and continues to carry on with her life.
Laurance Zvahl has his own problems. His life at home is completely different from his life at school. He is abused by his father and his sister doesn't have a care in the world. At school he puts on a fake smile even though he is broken inside.
When these two met, they didn't seem very fond of each other. Aphmau thought Laurance was just a dumb womanizer. She thought he was stupid, and could care less about anything. But she was wrong, Laurance is the complete opposite on the inside.
Laurance never liked Aphmau either. He saw her as a boring know-it-all. But behind her nerdy glasses is a funny, playful, loving girl.
Soon these two will fall in love when they least expect it. They try to hide their feelings all together but they can't deny their love for each other.
You can't deny fate.
