We looked in the direction the scream came from.

Kawaii~Chan.

"SQUEE! KAWAII~CHAN'S SHIP IS SAILING! OH MY IRENE! AAAAHH!" She screamed.
"K-Kawaii~Chan!?" Laurance asked.
"KAWAII~CHAN COULDN'T RESIST FANGIRLING! WHEN SHE SAW HER SHIP ABOUT TO KISS SHE JUST PFHSKDFKSKSJE!!"
"Ugh! Kawaii~Chan, you ruined it! Gah!" I yelled.
"Kawaii~Chan said she's sorry! She's just happy that her ship sailed!"
It started to rain again.
"W-Well...I should get going. B-Bye guys." I began. But Laurance grabbed my hand to stop me. Kawaii~Chan squealed.
"Aphmau, l-let me walk you home. We live next door anyway."
"Um...o-okay."
We held hands as we walked back home.
When we got to my house, we said our goodbyes even though we lived directly across from each other.
"Um...sorry we didn't get to kiss earlier." He apologized.
"Hey, it's not you're fault. It's fine."
"Well, I should get going now or my did is gonna kill me."
"Okay. See ya at school tomorrow then."
"Yeah. See you at school." He kissed my forehead and walked to his house. I blushed.
But I felt sad.
I didn't get to kiss Laurance...
We were only centimeters away from our lips touching but...
Well, I hope we'll get to have our first kiss soon.
