Today was the day of prom! Gah! I'm so excited! I have the perfect dress to wear to it too! Man, I wonder what Laurance will look like. Probably hot like always. Gah, what am I thinking.

I just realized how many people are gonna be like:

"Oh my Irene, they are so cute!"

"They are totally dating!"

"Aww! They're in love!"

*Sigh* Oh well. I'll just have to live with the shipping.

Anyways! I've gotta get ready for prom!

When I was done getting ready, I looked at my reflection. My dress was beautiful! It was purple and very frilly! It goes down to just above my knees too.

My hair was kept down and curled, just the way I like it. I also had a purple ribbon on the back of my head.

I looked amazing! Oh my Irene I hope Laurance will like it!

I check the time. 5:00PM

Prom should start soon! I can't wait until Laurance shows up!

There was a knock at my door. I excitedly ran downstairs to answer it. I opened the door and saw Laurance. He was wearing a tuxedo and he had a bouquet of flowers in his hand. He blushed when he saw me.

"Hey, Laurance! You look amazing!"

"You-Your dress is so...you look so...hot!" He said awkwardly.

"Hehe, thanks."

"Um, these are for you!" He handed me the bouquet of flowers. And they were purple! My favorite color! I yelled with enthusiasm.

"They're beautiful! Thanks so much! Oh, and by the way, how did you convince your dad to let you go?"

"Well, I didn't convince him. He's just not at the house right now. I think he's seeing someone or whatever."

"Oh, I see. So what time is it?"

"5:10."

"Hmm prom doesn't start until 5:30. So what do we do while we wait?"

"Umm...we can just practice dancing or whatever."

"That's a great idea! Oh, and will you be able to dance fine with a short potato like me?"

"Uh...we'll see I guess."

We went up to my room and I set my bouquet of flowers down.

"S-So...do you know how to dance?" Laurance asked.
