Today was the day. I was finally going to move out of my house. But don't worry, I'll still be attending the same school. I just need to get away from my mom. I can't stand her.

When I was finished packing all my things, I stepped out the door and got into my car. But my mom stepped out of the door.

"Sweety-" I cut her off.

"No. Don't say a word. Goodbye."

"I love you, my little Aphie." I just glared and drove away to find my new house.

My new house was a few neighborhoods away. It was going to be huge! There was gonna be one master bedroom (mine), a guest room, two bathrooms, and ya know, all that house stuff.

When I got there, I excitedly grabbed my bags and went inside. I gasped when I got inside. It was sooo big! This will be awesome!

I raced up to my room. Wow this is so huge! I can already imagine what it will look like! It has one window that was right across from the neighbor's house. They also had a window just like mine and they were right across from each other. Gah, I hope they aren't a creep and spy on me. I need to get window blinds.

I soon notice someone open the door to my neighbor's room across from me. It was a guy my age. Crap. Please don't be a creep.

I notice they had light brown hair. Hm. Reminds me of Laurance. Weird. But then they turned towards me. Oh damn it. It really was Laurance.

...

WAIT, YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT LAURANCE IS MY NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR!?

We both stared with our eyes wide. I walked up to my window and opened it. He did the same. I glared.

"Jeez, you of all people? Ugh..." I said.

"Um...Aph- whatever your name is, why are you in that house?" He said awkwardly.

"First off, it's Aphmau, second, I just moved in."

"Wait, what!? Ugh! Well this sucks...a nerd is my next-door neighbor...well a hot nerd with a good voice..." He mumbled the last part.

"What was that?"

"NOTHING."

"Well, I'm actually gonna do something useful with my time. Goodbye." I closed my window and walked downstairs to start unpacking.

When I finish unpacking, I step into my car to see if I had left anything. Nope. Everything unpacked.

On my ear buds, I listen to the soundtrack Nagisa from the anime Clannad. Gah, I loved that anime! It was so sad! But I remember Aaron watched it with me...and we never got to finish it together so I had to watch the rest on my own...

I tried not to cry as I just focused on life.

From the house next door, I could hear yelling. Confused, I closed the door to my car and looked at their house.

It looked like Laurance and his dad were fighting or something.

Suddenly, the door opened and someone was shoved out of the house and they landed on the ground. Laurance.

"AND DON'T YOU DARE THINK ABOUT COMING BACK LATER!" The door was slammed.

I looked over at Laurance. He looked hurt but not injured. Should I help him? No! He probably was abused for a pretty good reason! Like...saying a bad word or...eating all the cookies in the cookie jar or something...I don't know...
