I was on my way to my locker. But I kept hearing gossiping about me and...Laurance? It was strange. Nothing really has happened between the two of us beside...well, Saturday night. But no one knows about that...weird. I'm starting to wonder if people still like me...they keep shooting me death glares like I just killed their family or something. What did I do wrong?

"Excuse me, potato. We would like to have a word with you." Said a voice.

Excuse me?

I turned around to see the popular girls: Ivy, Michi, Cadenza, and Lucinda.

"Hm?" I asked.

"May you explain why Laurance was over at your house on Saturday? We're hearing rumors that he even spent the night! What exactly were you doing?"

WAIT, WHAT!? HOW!?

All the girls looked pissed off. Especially Michi. Laurance's girlfriend.

"W-Where did you get this information?" I asked. Cadenza spoke up.

"I live next door, dum dum. Your widow blinds were open too. Don't think I didn't see anything going on. I even got a picture." She showed me a picture of me and Laurance sleeping together.

I stood there frozen not knowing what to say. "Well!?" Ivy asked.

"I-I um..." I began. Ivy took off my glasses and stomped on them, shattering the lenses. I gasped and so did a lot of other people.

"Let Michi~Chan, take care of this, nya~!" Michi said as she got closer to me and pushed me to the ground. "Listen, potato girl. Laurance is MY boyfriend. Not yours, and not anyone else's! Just. Mine! Nya~! So why were you sleeping with Michi's lover~boy? Nya~!"

She looked infuriated with me. Oh Irene, please help me.

"Not gonna talk, nya? Well we'll make you talk." She kicked me hard in the leg.

"Gah!" I shrieked. Then Ivy did the same. I backed into the wall. "I-I...It's really none of your business!" I shouted.

"Oh, I have an idea." Ivy said as she smirked. "I heard that your little Aaron passed away. Oh, what a shame. He was a cutie too. But don't worry, he probably would have broken up with you sooner or later anyway."

It brought tears to my eyes. But I wasn't going to let her get away with that. I stood up and yelled with rage and tried to punch her but she caught my fist and kicked me in the stomach. I fell to the ground once more.

"Y-You dirty b*tch-" I tried to say. They kept kicking me and punching me and all that to get me to talk. But I wouldn't say a word.

A voice stopped them from hurting me though.

"Hey, what are you doing!? leave her alone!" They stopped and turned to who it was. Laurance?

Pretty much the entire school watched to see the drama.

"Oh, lover~boy!" Michi said as she ran up to Laurance, putting her hands on his shoulders. "We heard from a little bird that miss...Aphmeow here slept with you so we showed her a lesson, nya~!"

"Um so you decide to beat up her and not me? I'm the one that slept with her after all."

There was a scream from a girl that I think was Kawaii~Chan in the crowd. She fainted and had a nosebleed. And everyone else was like "WHAAAAT!?"

"L-Lover~Boy, nya~?"

"We're over, Michi. You only dated me so you could be popular. Goodbye." Michi's eyes swelled up with tears and she ran away.

Everything was silent for a moment. Then Laurance turned to the other popular girls.

"Now. Leave Aphmau alone or you're gonna get it."

There were whispers throughout the school. Such as:

"Mm, drama!"

"GAH THIS IS SO CUTE! THEY NEED TO GET TOGETHER! SQUEEE!"

"Daaayyyuuum."

"CUTEST LOVE STORY 2016! GAAAH!"

The popular girls rolled their eyes and walked off. Then Laurance ran to me.

"Are you okay?" He whispered.

"Y-Yeah. Just bruised..." I said calmly.

He bluntly picked me up bridal style and took me to the nurse. There was a few pictures taken but I didn't care. Though...now they'll think me and Laurance are dating or something...gah.

Ya know...I'm starting to think that Laurance isn't a jerk after all. He comforted me when I was sad, watched anime with me, and even saved me from those bullies. Maybe those rumors about him being a bad boy and a rebel were fake.

"Hey, Laurance?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"Let's be friends."

MMM HE GOT FRIEND ZONED SO HARD! XD And is anyone else Kawaii~Chan in this story? I know I am. And sorry for a short chapter. I try to make my chapters nice and long (1k +) but meh. 800 words is close enough. So anyway, hope you enjoyed!
