Draco's POV-I was trying so hard to restrain myself from saying anything as Snape kept on insulting Hermione.
Insufferable know-it-all.
Well maybe she is, but she's probably 10 times smarter than he is anyway.
I glanced back over at her and felt my anger level rise even more. There in her eyes were tears; tears caused by the stupid, greasy-haired teacher teaching.
I sat through the rest of the class, not paying attention to anything but the end of class bell.
Hermione practically ran out of the classroom, so I decided to follow her.
"Hermione!" I yelled out after her.
She turned around and gave me a brief wave, before turning back around and hurrying off.
"Granger, wait up!" I called out, running up to her.
"Draco, now's really not the time-"
"I don't think you're an insufferable know it all. Yeah, you know a lot, but look at where it gets you. You're a bloody amazing witch." I smiled.
"Really?" She questioned.
"Positive." I replied.
"Well thank you. Although, as much as I do want to stay around and chat, I really do have to get going." She said nervously.
"Do you have to?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm really sorry." She answered, waving before running ahead and into another corridor.
I stood standing alone for a good minute, staring at the spot where she just was.
"My dear little Drakie is all upset and alone because his darling Hermy left him." I heard my best friend Blaise snicker in a mocking voice behind me.
I turned around and hit him across the back of the head playfully.
"Ow, you've given me severe brain damage now. My looks won't be up to standard anymore, and I'm going to become less attractive-"
I silenced him by hitting him across the head again, only this time slightly harder.
"Okay, okay. I get it. You wish I was Granger instead, don't you?" Blaise grinned.
"Shut-up Zabini." I sneered, giving him a good third hit on his head.
"Alright, I'll stop now." He groaned, causing me to burst out laughing.
