Chapter 4

"Katniss it's time to go!"

"I know! I'm coming!" Walking in heels is a new thing for me.

I reach the bottom of the stairs and just miss the elevator.

"Looks like ill catch the next one."

I wait a few minutes then enter the elevator. As I start going down, I almost made it to first floor except I stopped on floor two.

The door opens and a tall, blonde, icy blue eyed boy walks in. Very attractive.

"Oh sorry. Should I catch the next one?" He asks.

"No! I'm mean, no." I hope I didn't sound to eager. But by the way he was grinning I think it sounded that way.

We make it to the main floor and we both walk out together. Peeta waiting for me right where the door opens.

"Where were you?" He asks.

"Sorry," I say. "I had to wait till you were on the main floor to press the button and then when I was in there it stopped on floor 2 and-"

"Yeah, I get it." Peeta staring at the blonde boy.

Peeta and I walked into the big room where all the tributes were sitting. The blonde boy behind us. We find Effie and Haymitch. But of course. When I sit down I can't help but stair at the blonde boy.

He looked up and I stared into his warm blue eyes. He is very attractive- No! Katniss you can't think that! He is the enemy!

I look up again and he is staring at me too. He winks and looks the other way as if it didn't happen.

I looked down and blushed. I could feel him look back at me. I looked up and he seemed to be satisfied that I blushed.

When dinner was over I was walking with Peeta but realized I forgot my purse at the table.

"I'll meet you up there!" I say.

"Alright." He said as he entered the elevator. I walk back to the table and pretend I forgot something. I really didn't forget a purse. I didn't even have a purse.

I see that the blonde boy has already left and think that I'm alone.

I stand up and turn around noticing a brunette boy walking towards me.

"Hello!" He says. His eyes were a golden yellowy brown, and a very welcoming smile. Very attractive.

"Hi!"

"I'm Marvel. Did you forget something?" He asks.

"No. Thank you though."

"Aren't you going to tell me your name?" He smiles.

"Oh, right. I'm Katniss."

"Nice to meet you Katniss." He says.

He offers to walk me to the elevator. How could I say no?

"See you in training tomorrow?" He says.

"Yes!" I say.

Just then the blonde boy walks out of the washroom next to the elevator. Marvel walks away and the blonde one enters the elevator with me.

"Why were you talking to him?" He asks.

"Why not?" I say trying to be polite.

"because..."

It hits my floor and I realize he rode with me all the way there.

"Good night Katniss." He says.

"How do you know my name?" I ask.

"I just do!" He winks.

"What is your name?"

"Cato!"

"Okay... Nice to meet you Cato." I say.

"Good night!"

The door closes. Peeta is waiting for me already when I walk out of the elevator.

"Find what you need?"

"Yes. Thank you."

We walk down the hall and enter our rooms.

I fall asleep thinking of Marvel, and Cato.
