Katniss Pov

Today is training and both Cato and Marvel will be there.

Peeta and I were both ready around 10 minutes early. He offered to walk with me but I needed to talk with Haymitch.

"Thanks but I need to talk with Haymitch, you go right ahead!" I encouraged.

"Alright." He said with his cheeky smile.

Haymitch walked out of his room ready to go knowing we needed him on this day. So of course, he decided not to drink.

"Um, Haymitch do you think it's a bad thing that two of the Career boys are hitting on me?" I asked.

"Career boys? Well, it could be good and bad. Depends on how you use this advantage."

"Advantage?" What does he mean advantage?

"I mean you could use them as protectors, as in body guards. Then out. Of no where, you could have the advantage of take two more down in the competition."

"Are you saying that I would kill them after I have earned their trust?"

"Yes. The bad part is, they could already have made a plan to do the same to you."

Wait, what? Is he saying they might kill me? And what if they aren't going to? What if they actually do like... Me?

I can't use them and kill them after knowing their feelings.

"You okay?" Haymitch asks.

"Yeah. Lets get going."

By the time we get to training everyone has started their task. I was looking around and when I turned slightly o the left I noticed out of the corner of my eye, Cato. Staring right at me.

Oh no. Here comes the blush. I think he noticed because my dimple was showing. I looked up and he seemed satisfied.

He throws me a wink and then goes back to slashing his sword at the dummies.

Why do I find him attractive? I can't like a career!

I must have been to deep in my daydream to not notice Marvel walk up behind me.

"Hello Katniss!" He says with a friendly smile.

"Oh! Hi!"

"Are you going to train or are you just going to stand their and day dream?"

He must have been watching me.

"Oh right. And I wasn't say dreaming, I was just examining my competition." I explain.

"Alright Katniss. Lets see what you've got!"

He tossed me a spear.

"I can't throw this!" I say.

"Oh come on its not that hard!" He comes over and wraps his arms around me.

As if on cue, Cato and Peeta walk over.

"Um what is going on?" Cato asks.

Marvel immediately unwraps his arms.

"Nothing," He says "just giving a few tips on throwing spears to Katniss." Marvel explains.

"More like cuddling." Peeta Says.

"Exactly." Cato replies.

Glimmer walks up.

"Marvel what were you doing with Katniss? She's the enemy!" She says.

"I'm right here!" I exclaim.

No body was listening.

"Hello? Since when are you in charge of who I might and might not like?"

"Sorry for asking a simple question!" Glimmer exclaims.

"QUIET!!" Oops... Did I say that out loud?
