So I'll start with a Marvel Pov and then go from there!

Marvel POV

I'm running for my life now. Headed towards my slight chance to survive. Which is a camp site in a tree, with other tributes there, who will kill me.

I thought long and hard about just giving up and letting the animal kill me but, I feel as if there is still hope.

I made it to the tree. I begin to climb.

I'm half way up when I feel a sharp, agonizing pain rip through my flesh on my left calf.

The animal falls. Runs off and doesn't return.

I look up and I see a figure waiting to pull me and kill me.

I through my bag up trying to knock them over but they see it coming. They grab my hands and start to pull me up.

They lean me up against a tree branch and begin rummaging through my bag.

I look down. Not being able to bare who is about to take my life.

I can tell she is a girl by the way she smells and her long dark hair.

I can't build up the nerve to look up at her.

She kneels beside me.

"Marvel?" She says.

I look up into her icy grey ices.

"Katniss?" I say

"Oh my god." She pulls me into a hug while kissing me on the cheek.

It hurts but I hug her back.

She the is pulled back with a strong force by a large man I have never seen or met.

He has a sword in his hands.

My life, is in Katniss' hands.

"Who is this?" He says

"Gale, that's Marvel. A friend of mine." She steps in between me and the large man with the sword who I now know his name is Gale.

I hear someone else come over.

Gale pushes Katniss away and steps in front of me to block whoever is coming view.

"What is all the commotion?" He says

Cato.

He grabs Katniss by the hand and pulls her behind him.

She obviously knows not to interfere.

"Move out of my way Gale." He says anger in his tone.

"Make me."

I know that is my cue to come in so no one gets killed.

"Wrong answer."

"Marvel?" He says

Gale steps away from me.

"Hey Cato." I say

"Where the hell have you been? You were supposed to meet up with me at the cornucopia."

"I know. I got caught up with a few things. First Glimmer then the boy from 11 and then I met up with Clove tonight and was almost killed by a giant mutant wolf." I say.

Cato kneels down.

"We'll get you all cleaned up in no time. You'll be throwing spears once again."

*~the next day~*

"Wake up Marvel!" Says Katniss

"What?" I say

"We are moving out today. We need to gather together all of our stuff."

I sit up straight and look at her while she rubs some ointment from a backpack on my damaged leg.

She is so beautiful.

She is Cato's and not mine. I've lost my first love to Cato and now I will never find someone who will love me.
