Today I was on Dr. Hann's service alongside two other interns. We went back and forth from child to child. He was also a trauma surgeon so he wasn't there much to give much guidance. He had me running labs, the intern Joan, doing post opts, and the intern Craig bringing him coffee. This man wasn't even the slightest of lenient. I ran a CT and unfortunately, it looks like I was getting another bee. His name was Ramone, 8. I gave the CT results to the intern so she could show Dr. Hann. Technically, I wasn't suppose to be doing intern work because I was still a volunteer here. Well, a paid volunteer. Its complicated. I snuck down to the Dria twins room and popped my head in.

"BB!" Kel squealed.

"Hey yall."

"Where have you been?!" She folded her arms.

"I have been doing a lot of work. Have yall been good?"

"I have been good! Kel hit Corey." Andy laughed.

"KEL." I tried to hold back laughter.

"He kept poking me with that kneetle! It hurt!" She defended.

"He was just trying to do his job. Be nice."

"Okay." She pouted,"but when are you coming back?"

"Soon. I promise." I smiled.

"Zilla is on the prowl." Joan said to me.

Zilla was the nickname we gave Hann because he reminded us of a surgical Godzilla.

"Gave him the labs?" I wondered what he was mad about.

"Made it worse." She replied.

"Ugh. I'll try to stay out his way. Keep an eye on the kids for me?"

"Sure."

"Kel, Andy, this is Joan. She's nice."

"Hi." She smiled.

"Can we call you JoJo?" Andy said innocently.

"Of course." She let out a small laugh.

"Bye yall." I left.

I should check on Josi. I hear she was going into surgery. I'm pretty sure Daniel is freaking out. I turned the corner and bumped into someone.

"Oh! Sorry! I-..Corey!" I exclaimed.

"Hey B." He smirked.

"Yay! You're not mad!"

"I was never mad, but when I said you were a tease, I meant it." He sounded so calm.

"Wait. I gave you a-."

"Yep."

"I am so sorry!" I could NOT hold in my laughter. I did an ugly cackle.

"You sound so apologetic..."

"I'm sorry!" I tried to get serious.

"Whatever. But now its my turn! Lunch. 12:30. Same room. You better be there!"

"Okay." I was still kind of chuckling.

I was walking to Josi's room when I passed Tommy's. He was dancing around in socks and a hospital gown. He was so joyous. He was trying to do the moonwalk when he tripped over his oxygen cord. I went to help him up.

"You okay?" I helped him to his feet.

"You threw off my groove." He joked.

"My apologies, as you were."

"Wait! How was my moonwalk?" He waited for my answer intensely.

"Michael Jackson would be jealous."
