imagine a happy ending to "Dying on a Hunt"

You kissed your child's head gently, pulling the small blanket over her sleeping body. You turned away from her crib to face the rest of the room. Simple decorations labeled the wall along with protective symbols. You smiled and exit the room.
Once out, you leaned against the wall and sighed in relief. Your hair was escaping the pony tail you quickly pulled your hair into. Dark circles were sitting under your eyes, and you felt exhausted. Slowly you pushed yourself up and headed into the living room. Dean was already passed out on the couch, just as exhausted as you.
You walked to the couch, and laid on Dean. He shifted himself so it would be more comfortable for the both of you. You laid down, your head sitting in the crook of his shoulder. It was a matter of seconds before you were passed out.
******
When you woke up, you were no longer laying on Dean, but a pillow with a blanket over you. You sat up instantly confused. Rubbing your eyes you realized you were in the room you and Dean shared. Yawning you looked at the clock. You had slept for 5 hours, it'd been a while.
Once you stood up, you wrapped a thin blanket over your shoulders, and smoothed your messy hair and left the room. You walked down the hall to your daughter's room. You didn't hear any noise from inside. Gently you opened the door and peeked in.
Dean sat with your daughter on his lap, she was cradled in his arms, and his head was back against the rocking chair, passed out. You couldn't help the happiness that made you want to cry, and then you remembered. Shaking away the thought, you took the blanket from your shoulders and covered Dean and your daughter.
You rushed quickly from the room, knowing you might not have enough time to get ready.
******
You brushed an eyeshadow over your eyes, along with eyeliner and mascara. You'd taken maybe 10 minutes to apply makeup for the first time since you had your daughter. It was actually quite relaxing, or it would have been if it hadn't of been for what was coming.
Once you changed, you sat on the edge of the bed gripping the sheets tightly. Gulping you nodded your head, and stood up. Pulling on your leather jacket you walked to the living room where Sam sat studying a case. Trying to find a suitable one for your first hunt back.
"Hey, I'm gonna head to the grocery store and pick up some stuff, I want to attempt to make a feast tonight," you smiled at Sam, he rolled his eyes,
"Be sure to pick up some pre-cooked meals for when that goes horribly," he glanced up at you, then back to the book. You walked around the table and hit him with the back of your hand, he flinched away from you,
"Don't be rude Samuel!" you laughed again and grabbed the impala's keys. Once outside, you shut the bunker door, and put the keys in your back pocket. Closing your eyes, you heard the small "woosh" that normally came when Cas appeared.
"Are you ready?" he asked, worry creasing his forehead. Biting your lip, you nodded,
"As I'll ever be." His hand laid on your shoulder, and suddenly you in the middle of a crossroads. The sun was going down, making a beautiful sight, but you didn't notice because of the worry running through your veins.
Cas helped you lay out the devil's trap and when you were done, you walked to the middle, and placed your ID and some money in the small box. You shoved it back under gravel and waited a minute.
"Well hello," a voice said from behind you. You didn't jump you just slowly turned.
"Let me out of the deal Crowley," you said, knowing Cas had an angel blade ready. He just smiled at you,
"Love why would I do that?" humor laced throughout his eyes. You felt desperation surge through you as you gripped the knife in your pocket,
"Because you don't have a choice," you whipped out the knife and held it to his throat. He rolled his eyes,
"I need a better reason than that sweetheart, I'm giving up a soul," he looked actually bored as you threatened his life. You couldn't help the tears of anger, sadness, and stress that were leaking out of your eyes.
"I will do anything Crowley, please," a single tear escaped, he looked at it,
"Alright have sex with me," you jumped back,
"Yeah, ew, no way in hell you creep, something else," he chuckled,
"When you're old, and on your death bed, you'll allow me to take your soul," he bargained, you thought about it.
"Only on my death bed, when I'm like 5 minutes from biting the dust," you kept the knife up still, he rolled his eyes,
"Such little faith Winchester. Yes, only when you are 5 minutes from biting the dust of natural causes," he looked at his nails,
"Deal?" you couldn't help the small smile that sat on your lips,
"Deal."
******
"Hey Sammy," Dean said rubbing his eyes,"Where's y/n?" Sam leaned back in his chair and yawned,
"Went to go buy some stuff to make "a feast" tonight," just as he finished the bunker door opened, and you and cas walked in with grocery bags lining your arms.
"Hi boys," you smiled walking down the stairs, you made it into the kitchen and put the bags down on the counter. Dean walked in and hugged you from behind. You turned and hugged him hard. You couldn't help the tears falling down your cheeks.
"Woah, babe, what's wrong?" Dean asks concern contorting his face. You smiled and wiped away the tears.
"On the way home, I realized how thankful I am for you, and how grateful I am that I'll be here for everyone until I'm nice and old," you said smiling again. Dean smiled,
"Me too," he kissed you.
It was going to be a good life.

WAS THAT GOOD?
WAS THIS OKAY?
I hope so.. I will admit that I'm finishing this while I'm on break, but it's good not to have to post it right after. I'm appreciative of this break, and the time it's given me to grieve, and I'll still grieve even while I'm back, and I'll be in pain for a while, but I think it's gonna get better.
Thank you to all the kind comments I got while I was away, it made me so happy to see, and I hope you all are excited that we have many chapters coming from Liz.
I'm happy to be back, and I hope you all enjoyed this :)
always keep fighting because you are not alone,
