CYN
Me and Daph walked into Ace of Diamonds and this place is jumping. I let the manager know i was here and he brought us to our section. He had it stocked with my favorite Patron and a hookah. I walked over to the DJ booth to introduce myself and he announced my arrival "ALRIGHT LA WE HAVE THE BADDEST CHICK FROM NY IN THE BUILDING TONIGHT MAKE SOME NOISE." Everybody started cheering for me as i took the mic. "I SEE A LOT OF BAD BITCHES AND FINE ASS NIGGAS IN HERE. IT'S MY FIRST TIME BEING IN LA SO I'M GONNA NEED YAH TO SHOW ME A GOOD TIME TONIGHT. LETS TURN THE FUCK UP." I gave him the mic back and made my way back to my section. A few fans walked up and asked to take some pictures. As i was finishing up i could have swore i saw Albee walking out of the club. I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
I sat down on the couch and Daph sat next to me "Everything alright?" "Yeah i thought i may have seen Albee and usually where there's Albee, Erica follows." "Erica as in your ex girlfriend Erica?" i nodded my head yes "Oh wow. I don't think she would have the balls to be in the same spot as you though." "Were talking about Erica Mena here, she's crazy" I said laughing. "Yeah your right. Well don't let it bother you, it might not even be him. So were going to enjoy the rest of our night and if Erica decides she wants to show up and show out, which she probably wont because she's a coward, i will handle it myself, okay?" she smiled at me "See Daph that's why i love you"
2 hours have passed and still no sign of Albee or Erica which is a good thing. I pulled a few fans to my section to turn up with me. I was sipping on the Patron feeling a little buzz so i decided to stop. I know my limits, especially being in area and not knowing my surroundings. I looked over and saw Daph was enjoying herself and smiled. I got up to use the bathroom and i felt somebody push up on me trying to grab me. I turned around so quick "Yo i know were in the club but you can't be doing that" He looked at me with a smirk on his face "We'll see how you feel about that later ma." and winked at me. I smelled the alcohol on his breath and decided not to pay him any attention. Dudes don't know how to act when they get liquor in their system.
I finally found the bathroom down this long hallway with barely any lighting. This isn't sketchy at all i thought to myself as i tried to open the door but it was locked. Since when do we lock bathroom doors in the club? I knocked on the door and didn't hear a reply. I stuck my ear up to the door and heard moaning. That's disgusting. I sat there for about 10 minutes before i got impatient and knocked on the door again "Give me a second" the voice said. "Oh hell no I've been waiting for 10 minutes i need to pee before i go in my pants." I waited another minute and i heard the door unlock. When i saw who opened the door i froze. Erica Mena. She was looking down so she didn't see me yet, but when she did her mouth dropped. "Wow this doesn't surprise me at all." I said with a sarcastic tone. She just looked at me. "If you two would excuse me i have to use the bathroom" I pushed past Erica and her entertainment of the night and made my way to the stall. As soon as i heard the door close i let out a frustrated groan. Why me god. I need to leave and ASAP.
I handled my business and washed my hands. As i was walking out of the bathroom the same dude that tried me earlier came walking down the hallway. "Well look who we have here" he said slurring his words . I tried to move past him but he cornered me "Why is it bitches like you always think your to good to talk to anybody" "I don't i just didn't appreciate you grabbing me like that" He went to grab me again when Erica came walking down the hallway and stood next to me "Hey Cyn everybody is looking for you, are you okay?" she said eyeing him. I have never been so angry yet so happy to see her. "Yeah i'm good" I made sure i bumped into him on my way past him. I felt Erica on my heels and the last thing i wanted to do was talk to her.
Erica "Cyn"
Cyn "What Erica?"
Erica "What was that back there?"
Cyn "Nothing. Now if you don't mind i'm going back to my section"
She tried getting me to stop but i wouldn't. Once she realized that i was trying to avoid her she pushed me into the wall. My reflexes were on point because i slapped her in her face. I could tell she was drunk because she wouldn't have the balls to put her hands on me twice.
Erica "I deserve that, but don't let it happen again"
Cyn "If you know whats good for you, you won't push me like that again"
I guess she could tell i was angry because she backed away from me.
Erica "Look Cyn i don't want to fight with you, i just want to make sure your okay"
Cyn "Thank you Erica but I'm fine. I am no longer your concern"
Erica "Cyn i know you hate me but I'm sorry."
I couldn't do anything but laugh.
Cyn "Hate you? nah that would require me to actually care, and i stopped caring a long time ago." when i said that i saw pain in her eyes and i actually felt bad for saying that but i snapped out of my feelings real quick.
Erica "Can you at least let me explain myself?"
Cyn "Uhh that's a no. I think it's funny that you thought that i would actually want to listen to any kind of explanation you have."
Erica "Cyn please."
Cyn "You know what Erica fine. I will give you one hour of my time and that will be it. Don't think because i'm allowing you to explain yourself that this gives you any control over me. I'm not the same girl you knew 3 years ago and i will stand my ground. The only reason i'm agreeing to this is because i believe everybody deserves a chance no matter how fucked up their actions are. Consider yourself lucky that i'm giving you the time of day. Give me your number and i will call you when i'm ready to listen to what you have to say."
Erica "Thank you Cyn, one hour is all i need"
She leaned in to to hug me but i curved her. Who does she think she is? I really dont know what goes through this girls head half the time.
Cyn "I'm not going to hug you Erica and act like things are okay between us. I'm letting you explain yourself and that's it. I have nothing more to say, I'm going back to my section and you can go back to fucking your hoe."
She nodded her head and put her number in my phone and i walked away without saying a word. I got back to my section and told Daphne i was ready to go. She saw the look on my face and knew not to ask any questions. We gathered our stuff and made our way to the car.
