Chapter 4
-------------

Michael was an immortal werewolf alpha that too a powerful one. Helplessness was not something alphas encountered but when you had your own mate chocking you to death, crushing your throat and windpipe your instincts kicked in.

His hands tried to pull her hand out gently first and then desperately but she out powered him by a large margin, her hand held his neck in iron grip the pressure only increasing. He attacked her hand vigorously but she either did not feel it or made no difference on her because she didn't bulge and inch. He tried to attack his hands trying to claw at her, his mind in conflict of him attacking his own mate. But she easily dodged his attempts like he was a pup who just turned and not one of the most feared alpha.

Spots started appearing in front of his eyes, he chocked and gasped as his lungs demanded air and in final desperate attempt he tried to shift.

A snap reverberated across the room as Glaneth snapped his neck with a satisfactory smirk.

That was fun! She thought gleefully. May be she would do this for a while...maybe she would keep snapping his neck until he begged to be killed. Even though he would regenerate and wake up in about five minutes, he would still feel the pain of dying, once dead his immortality would kick in and repair his body and bring it back to life. The only way to kill an immortal was to decapitate it.

May be she would do this for years! Torture was not really her thing, she had grown out of that phase after the medieval times but what the hell! He fucking bit her like a fucking dog....and there would be painful consequences. She grinned her eyes gleaming like a kid who had just been gifted a new toy to play with.

Her personal own werewolf toy...she would buy a leash and collar! Even have his name engraved!

She rubbed her hands satisfied and her smile froze on her face.

What.
The.
Fuck?!?!?

A feeling unfamiliar to her spread through her seeping in to every nerve, every fiber out to her body, her body going extremely cold and suddenly she doubled over in shooting pain.

What the hell was happing to her?

As she took deep breaths trying to crawl on the floor to stand up she felt her life-force leaving her.

For an elf their life-force was everything, it was their mystic energy which gave them powers of the elf, their strength and their unique abilities. Each elf had unique abilities, Genove could teleport which was a minor power but quite useful. She, the lady of the fay court had more powerful and special ability. She had a rare and much coveted ability to heal, not just some simple healing of scrapes and bruises, she could bring back an immortal or human from the brink of death and sometimes bring them back to life based on how they died as well.

It was all a tricky business and a rare gift in the immortal realm, in fact her gift was so unique that only a few select people in the fay court knew it and wanted to keep it that way. She not only healed people but also enhanced them....temporarily of course, the enhancement usually lasted from a few days to a few months and it was an exponential enhancement. A strong being would become a thousand times stronger and agile and if that being had special powers their powers also enhanced crazily. For example Genove could teleport all day and be exhausted end of day but if she did enhance him, he could do it for a month nonstop without breaking a sweat.

But all this power came at a price. Every single enhancement, every single healing would ebb her life-force away, leaving her extremely vulnerable. She would take approximately a week to recharge but in that week she would be left powerless, essentially like a human. That is why she used her powers so sparingly, in dire emergencies under the approval of the fay court.

But apparently she was using her powers against her will and without her control here and as she got on her hands and knees, held on to the bed railing where the alpha was lying she pulled herself up with great effort and stood leaning on the bed and her eyes widened.

Fuck.Me! She could not believe this shit!

His body was glowing in a dim hue indicating healing. Her powers were healing him. Fuck, this, shit!

She just realized she screwed up really badly somewhere.

Just then the alpha stopped glowing and opened his eyes looking in to hers with intense but unreadable emotions.

Her power drain hit her like a ton of bricks her eyes rolled in to her head and she collapsed.

Michael got up in panic as he saw his mate collapse, he jumped out of the bed and landed on the floor and the flooring cracked on impact under his feet

What the....? He looked down in confusion for a moment but his gaze moved over to his collapsed mate.

He quickly checked her pulse, she was find breathing softly and he picked her up in his arms like a feather.

Was she really this light? May be it was an elf thing? He frowned looking down at her, he did not know anything regarding his mate and he needed to correct it ASAP.

She was so small, like a pixie but her beauty stole his breath away as he greedily took in her features without interruptions.

He has never felt this awesome in his life and he had a feeling it was something to do with his fay mate, she had snapped his neck and when he revived...instead of feeling like shit, he felt like he was invincible, his body was literally humming with power, begging to be released...but the damper was the moment he opened his eyes, his mate collapsed in heap on to the floor.

Luckily her vitals were intact, so he assumed she just passed out and whatever happened to him impacted her in some way.

Not that he would question it, whatever it was incapacitated his mate and this opportunity fell at his feet, literally. He was not an alpha for nothing and playing dirty was his style.

So he knew what he had to do. He would ensure that she was in his alpha compound before she regained consciousness with that thought he settled her in his arms and started walking out.

He also pulled out his phone and called the witch who was on his speed dial.

Time to ensure his mate never left him.
