Chained To My Mistakes
I have fallen before,
Down to the shore,
Where a boy caught me,
Who has made me see.
Things were so different there,
Where someone finally cared.
Together, we faced the world,
But, things went down hill,
And my heart he aimed to kill.
Broken was my heart,
Another missing art.
Now, I have done it another time.
Yet he is worth my every last dime.
Again, he leaves me hurt,
Saying I'm foolish, a piece of dirt.
So now I lay in my bathroom,
Preparing to meet my awaited doom.
I know what is next with him,
My hope of light will slowly dim.
I have no one to help me,
No matter who I offer my key.
So will you be my friend,
And put everything to an end?
Please, you'll take these chains away,
I'm stuck believing everything that he says.
Will you save me from my mistakes,
No matter what it takes....?
