Ch.8

~Maggie's POV~

I stepped inside Ryan's house and was immediatley greeted by two furry animals. "Whoa there, Storm. Crissy. Down." I heard Ryan say as the two dogs jumped up to greet me. I just giggled and knelt down to pet them. "Oh don't worry about them Ryan. If i get taken down by two fluffy four legged creatures, then that's how I go." I said as the dogs happily licked my face and wagged their tails. After another minute of giving the dogs some belly rubs and behind the ear scratches, I stood up and faced Ryan. "Dinner is served" he said with a grin as he saw how happy his dogs made me."So what is it that you wanted me to talk about?" I asked as we sat down at his dining room table with the dogs crowded around my feet. "Well first I wanted to apologize for the way I've been acting. Towards you and just in general. I've been an ass." He said as he took a bite of food. "Well, apology accepted."I replied, also taking  a bite of food. Mmm delicious! I thought as I chewed slowly. "The second thing was that I wanted to try and explain myself and my actions. You know my feelings toward you and that hasn't changed, i highly doubt it ever will. When I heard about you and Gavin..I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't bring myself to face the fact that he has you and I do not. After awhile of thinking I realized that I just want you to be happy and it seems that Gavin makes you happy." Ryan said with a very serious tone. He still likes me?! I thought. "But why would you like me? I'm nothing special." I said as I swallowed my food. "Well it's everything about you...I shouldn't be saying this. You and Gavin are together and I don't want to cause any problems. So that's it. That's all I wanted to tell you." The dark haired man said. "Well thank you for clearing things up for me." I said. Then we continued eating in silence until I decided to break it off by clearingmy throat. "Since you were being an ass...how about we play minecraft together and put this whole thing behind us?" I suggested."That sounds like a good idea to me" Ryan said as he stood up to clear the plates and clean up from dinner. I stood as well to help him.

~Ryan's POV~

Dinner went better than expected. I was such a nervous wreck that Maggie would hate me but tonight has, so far, been very easy and relaxing. Well, after I explained myself to her and she accepted my apology. I almost jumped up from my chair when she said we should play minecraft and put it all behind us. Maybe things will feel normal again.. I thought as Maggie helped me clean up. Once everything was clean and tidy, we both sat down on my couch and I loaded up minecraft. "Gold or black?" I asked as I grabbed two controllers. Maggie smiled and pointed to the gold one. "I'm gonna kick your ass, Mad King" she said with a grin as the world loaded. "ha! You wish" I replied as we began gathering materials to survive. After about two hours, we had a very nice house built, food to eat and plent of tools to use. I was right.Things finally felt almost normal again. "Smile!" I said as I pulled out my phone and took a selfie with Maggie. I captioned it 'truest friend of all right here' before posting it to twitter.

~Maggie's POV~

Minecraft with Ryan was alot of fun..even if he kept putting all the cows he found into a giant pit and chuckling to himself. I heard a horn honk outside and checked my watch.I couldn't believe that it was eleven at night."Shit" I said as I stood up and stretched. "Awe leaving already?" Ryan asked as he turned off the Xbox. "Yeah, Michael isn't gonna be happy that I forgot to text him." I said as I began to walk towards the door. "Tonight was awesome, thanks Ry" I said as I was putting on my shoes. "Well, Thank you for letting me explain myself and for not hating me forever for being such a dick" he replied with a chuckle. "Well what kind of friend would I be if I didn't let you explain yourself?We should do this again sometime!" I exclaimed as I turned to the door."Good night!" I said as I walked out the front door to the car.  I climbed into the passenger side and was faced with a very unhappy Mogar. "What part of 'text me' did you not understand?" he asked, trying his best to keep calm. I just giggled at him and replied with "Sorry I forgot. I was distracted by Ryan's adorable dogs." Michael just rolled his eyes and we headed home.

Ryan and I hungout twice more that week, once we went to the mall and another time we took his dogs to the dog park. All the drama of the last few weeks had completely disapeared and we were best friends now. Today I woke up excited because today was the day that Gavin and Geoff came home. Michael and I were chosen to pick them up at the airport. "MAGGIE C'MON!THEY JUST LANDED" my brother yelled as he put on his jacket and grabbed the car keys. "Coming!" I said as I laced up my converse and checked my hair and makeup before finally joining him in the car. It wasn't a long drive to the airport and I was so glad. I couldn't take listening to Michael sing along to the radio much longer. Finally we pulled up to the pick up area whre Gavin and Geoff were waiting. I got out of the car so that Geoff could sit up front with Michael while I joined Gavin in the back. "Hey love" Gaving said as he kissed and hugged me tight. "Hey yourself" I replied with a happy giggle."Hey! how was the trip?" Michael asked as we all piled into the car adn drove back towards home. "It was awesome!" Geoff said enthusiastically. We filled Geoff and Gavin in on what they had missed during their absence. "Sounds like we missed some pretty top stuff." Gavin said as he put his arm around me and I snuggled into him.  From the airport we all went straight to the Roosterteeth building. "All work and no play makes Geoff a sad boy" Geoff said as we all got out of the car. "Geoff, all we do for work is play." Michael said as we entered the building. People welcomed Geoff and Gavin back and finally we were all back in the AH office recording videos. 

~Gavin's POV~

It was awesome to be back in Houston after being away for such a long time but it was even better to come home to my beautiful girlfriend. I had missed her and everyone a lot so when we walked into work it was top to talk to everyone. While I was away, I checked in on my social media and saw that she and Ryan had hung out. It made my stomach do flips, especially the caption. Since when were MY Maggie and Ryan such buds? Just the thought of him being alone with her made a shiver run up my spine. When we walked into the AH office, I saw Ryan smile at Maggie and I wanted to punch him. I think Geoff could sense something was off so he brought up the idea of us all going out tonight as a "Welcome home" get together. Everyone agreed and I couldn't wait!

~Maggie's POV~

Things couldn't be any better than they were at this point at time. I had my wonderful boyfriend, my cool older brother and I got to work with my friends at the coolest job in the world.Sadly, all good things must come to an end..
