How I became Savannah Solo Part 3

Monday August 17th

My alarm went off at 6:15 and I got out of bed. I brushed my teeth and straightened my hair. I got dressed and found sports med shirt. I changed into my clothes and then packed my cheer bag. I brought everything to the living room and set it on the couch.

Mom: morning
Me: Morning
Mom: even though you are paying for some of your own things now I am still willing to give you your 60 dollars a month. Also I'll pay for your school fees.
Me: Alright thanks
Mom: oh I am flying out to Boston later this afternoon. I am not sure when I will be getting back.
Me: okay well Brad's here so bye
Mom: bye call you later
Me: okay

I put my money in my bag and grabbed my bags. I hopped into Brad's truck and he drove us to Sonic and then to school. Lucky for us he always parks next to the field house where our first hour is. We walked in right as the bell rang.

Kirk: Solo, Evans cutting it close, Congratulations Solo
Me: Thank you Kirk.
Kirk: other than you two the other 10 people of this class are trainees.
Brad: fun
Kirk: well while I'm going over rules can you two do the weekly status log please?
Me: yeah we can.

Brad and I got the treatment log and made the status log for football. When we finished we gave it to Coach Green and went back to the training room. Kirk was only half way through so we just hopped up on the short benches and listened. Kirk lets the class go two minutes early since we have to walk over to the school building. Brad and I walked to the 5th wing and met up with Kiley and Justin. We walked in and then sat next to Megan and Matt. Coach Barron then walked in and spotted us.

Barron: oh lord having the it couple is bad enough but then you add the other two it couples like how did this happen?
Me: we really aren't that bad are we?
Barron: you can be, anyways let get through the rules and other things.

Barron did role and then went through his rules and then stuff that we would be doing this year. The bell rang and the 6 of us went downstairs to Mrs. Garvin's room. We sat down and waited for her to come in and notice us all. There only being 12 in the class we took up half of the class. When Mrs. Garvin walked in her face was priceless.

Garvin: How does this happen?
Kiley: Other than 1st, 4th and 6th we all have the same classes.
Me: Brad and I have the same schedule except for 6th
Garvin: Those poor teachers anyways let's get started.

We went through her expectations and what we would be learning this year. The bell rang and Brad and I headed to science. We did what the same thing as the past three classes and the then the bell rang. All six of us had English next and when Mrs. Walker came in she didn't look surprised.

Walker: I heard that the 6 of you were in classes all together and seeing that I haven't had any of you yet you all had to be in my 5th hour. Well let's get to it.

The bell rang and we all went to lunch. For 6th hour Matt and Brad went to Latin while Kiley and Justin went to Spanish and Megan and I went to German. We finished our last class and Megan and Matt went to soccer. Kiley and I changed into our cheer clothes and then gave our bags to the boys and then headed off to their trucks and then football. Kiley and I went to the gym and waited for Nate to get there.

When Nate finally got there we did stretches and then split into our stunt groups. We practiced the stunts that we would be doing for football season. Once the bell rang we were free to go. I walked to the field house and changed into my sports med shirt. Now that I am junior I'm a head trainer along with Brad and 2 other juniors and then 3 seniors. I would come from cheer, watch football practice and then go to soccer practice. We hadn't started soccer yet so I helped cut off tape and make ice bags for players. Once we finished Brad and I went to his house for dinner.

Brad and I played Xbox until dinner was ready. Once we ate Brad drove me home. I showered and then emptied out my cheer bag. I repacked it and then also packed my soccer bag. Tomorrow I would go to soccer first and then I would go to tumbling before catching the end of football practice.
