How I became Savannah Solo Part 3

Sunday October 11

I woke up at 6:30 and took Duke outside. I got out his food and Lydia made me breakfast. After I ate I went to my room and face timed Hope.

Hope: Baby Horse what's up
Me: So I got my final birthday present from Brad yesterday
Hope: What is it?
Me: say hello to Duke
Hope: Oh my gosh he is so cute! How old is he?
Me: 7 weeks. When he is three months he is going to obedience school and going to be certified as a service dog.
Hope: that means you could take him anywhere
Me: I know
Hope: well I have to go I have training
Me: Alright bye Hope
Hope: Bye Baby Horse, bye Duke.

I hung up with Hope and called Kelley.

Kelley: hey Baby Horse
Me: hey Squirrel wanna see my present from Brad?
Kelley: yes!
Me: his name is Duke
Kelley: he is so cute! Is he a great Dane?
Me: yup 7 weeks pure bred.
Kelley: If he's that big at 7 weeks he is going to be huge. Maybe he will be able to out run you.
Me: Ha! Very funny.
Kelley: I know I am well I have to go. Bye Baby Horse, bye Duke
Me: bye squirrel

I hung up with Kelley and then just texted Alex, Ali, and Ashlyn. I changed into my workout clothes and I put Duke in his kennel while I went for a run. I came back and showered and let Duke outside. I let him in and he ate while I did. After we ate we played fetch and wrestled until we were both tired. I turned on a movie and sat with Duke on the couch. We both fell asleep and were woken up by my mom coming home. Lydia made dinner and we sat down and ate.

Mom: so what are you going to do with Duke while you're at school?
Me: well until he goes to obedience school I'll put him in his cage and then come home during lunch to let him out for a bit and then go back
Mom: and after that
Me: there is that doggy day care place
Mom: what about when you have games? Or you go with the national team
Me: Well if you won't be here or Brad they have board at the doggy day care and plus if all else fails he can come with me
Mom: well if I'm in town then I will but just let me know.
Me: okay I'll handle it.

I cleaned up my plate and put it in the kitchen. Duke and I went to my room and put on a movie. I did homework and then fell asleep.
