How I became Savannah Solo Part 3

Wednesday December 23rd

Hope: come on kids time to wake up
Kelley: noo
Me: 5 more minutes
Hope:  I have coffee?....That's what I thought let's go.

We both sat up and grabbed our coffee. We got out of bed and put shoes on. Kelley and I both had messy buns, big t-shirts, Nike pros, and Kelley had brown uggs while I had my pink ones. We went down and fixed our plates. While we ate we listened to Jill

Jill: Great game last night ladies. We have recovery today and I know some of you are flying out and then rest tomorrow so if I don't see you Merry Christmas and be smart on New Year's. Baby Horse I need to see you after recovery
Me: okay

We all got up and went for recovery. Our group was number two so we started with massages. We then went to compression and ice baths. Our last thing was yoga. After our session we showered and then went out for lunch. Ali, Alex and Kelley wanted to shop so Ashlyn and Tobin were dragged along. Hope went back to pack and I went back to see Jill.

Jill: Baby Horse have a seat please. You really proved yourself last night.
Me: thank you
Jill: with that being said all of our coaches have discussed and agreed that we want you be at January camp. It starts the 4th and goes through the 25th. Normally the girls fly in the 3rd  Camp will also have a game against Ireland at the end.
Me: wow
Jill: now I understand that you have school when is your break over?
Me: school starts back on the 4th
Jill: we can give you a couple day leeway if you need.
Me: I just have to go to school that first day to get work and then I could fly in that day.
Jill: great I will let you book your flights when you have everything figured out.
Me: okay thank you
Jill: well I will see you at dinner
Me: see you

I got up and ran to Hope's room. I let myself in and jumped on her.

Me: guess what!
Hope: that you are trying to suffocate me?
Me: no guess who is going to January Camp!
Hope: really!
Me: yup I am going to get work from school and then fly in on the 4th so I will miss the first day though
Hope: good well dinner starts in 10 so let's head down.

We went down and the girls joined us.

Alex: So what did Jill want
Me: I will be joining you guys in January Camp.
Kelley: YES!
Ali & Ash: congratulations Baby Horse
Me: thank you

We finished eating and then went to pack our things. Once we finished we watched a movie. Kelley and I fell asleep in my bed.

Alex: Awe Kelley has the stuffed Baby Horse and Savannah has the stuffed Squirrel
Hope: yeah I noticed that.

The movie ended and then girls left.
