"Wait!" He yelled urgently. All noises, thoughts, and actions stopped, all because of an arrow that the imposter shot at me.

That is when heard it. He had not directed an arrow towards me. It was no arrow at all. It was the sting of a powerful magical bee species. I could not get up to escape but I could see what bee it was. The bee was red and had a short antenna. It was called a volcanic killer. Its touch alone could burn you to death. Its sting will make you unable to move. Its screech can make your ears bleed.

Someone scooped me up. I was certain it was the imposter who pretended to be Prince Caspian. His hands were cold. Too cold, in fact, it seemed as though they were dead.

We were running and I was almost certain that the bees had left us alone. I was very wrong, if the man were to slow down his pace, we'd be doomed. I screamed as if it were my last day on this planet. He collapsed, making me fall as well.

The bees surrounded us. All I felt was pain. It felt like I was being burned alive. I saw the satchel and at that moment, I remembered that there were jewelry in there that could save us from being killed by these monsters. It was so close, yet I could not muster any strength to reach for it. The man did not look so well either, I could tell that he was holding off his screams of pain.

He looked at me and his eyes shined brightly. I stared at the satchel intently and I hoped that he would understand why I was doing so. He looked at where I was staring. He reached for it at opened it. He threw everything out.

A bright light blinded me and when it disappeared, I could not see properly. One thing was for sure, my body didn't feel like it was burning. It was as if I were completely healed. I looked over to where my satchel used to be. The man was holding it, the jewelry was scattered around him. He moaned in pain.

This is my chance! I can grab the jewelry and scram. I quickly picked up the jewelry but when I picked up my last one, I had a sudden urge to save the man. I felt guilty. I looked at all the enchanted jewelry. White meant protection from darkness. Red meant destruction around you. Blue summons a water spirit. Green meant healing.

I found one jewelry that was green. I used that to heal the man. His eyes were still closed. He must've been exhausted. I let him rest as I watched over him. Soon enough, I found myself drifting off.

Caspian's Perspective
The forest

I carried the unconcious woman. For a short lady who has an hourglass figure, she sure is heavy once you carry her for a long time! I decided to stop and rest for a bit.

I gently placed her against a tree and tied her to it. I sat on a rock beside the tree and sighed.

I heard a yawn. She's awake. I turned my head over to her and waited for her to realize where she was. Her eyes adjusted in a few minutes. She looked around before her eye widen. "Where am I?! What did you do to me?!" She yelled. Oh dear lord, that obnoxious yelling is giving me a headache. "Silence." I whispered. I did not question how she heard me through her yelling, although, I knew I should've asked.

She kept quiet and so did I. I looked around. The willow trees sung a song of sadness. The grass cried in desperation. The birds made an unfamiliar sound. It almost sounded like they were chanting the word die.

Was this the same forest where I came from? Why did it feel as if death surrounded me? The forest where I came from was beautiful. The trees and grass created a beautiful melody. The colorful birds sang to the same melody.

All those thoughts in my mind drowned me. I hadn't noticed that the birds were circling around us. The trees sung louder and the grass cried louder. This time, it was evident that the winged creatures were chanting the word die.

"We have to go." I stated. "This forest is giving me a bad feeling." I looked over to the tree where I tied the girl to. My eyes widen. "What happened?" The tree looked like it was devouring her. "I have been yelling to get your attention! This tree isn't just any tree! My mother told me of this. This tree holds the soul of an evil human! This tree is named the Devouring Devil! You fool, this is your fault!"

It made sense. The grass wanted us to leave the forest. It knew what was to come. The birds chanted die because they knew what was to come. The trees sung a song of sadness because they did not wish for her death.

"How do we stop it?" I asked. I was so close to touching the tree but she yelled at me and told me not to. "If you want live, do not touch the tree while it devours another human. There might be a way to stop this. Find a ring with a white gem. Place both hands on the tree and chant na fýgei, to skotádi. It means be gone, darkness. These jewelry are very powerful." She said. I raised my eyebrow. "I thought you told me not to touch the tree." She looked at me with anger. "Do as I say imposter!"

I searched around the satchel. A ring with a white gem at the very bottom. I examined it closely. She was right. I could feel the powerful magic around it. "You stole this, didn't you?" I asked. "No. It was gifted to me." I rolled my eyes. I don't believe it.

I put the ring and and placed my hands on the tree. I chanted na fýgei, to skotádi 3 times. A bright light appeared, similar to the one earlier. I closed my eyes to prevent blindness. I was pushed back and I fell to the ground. When I opened my eyes and looked at the tree, short potato disappeared. It's too late.

Na fýgei, to skotádi means be gone, darkness in Greek. I apologize if it is not correct. I got it from Google Translate.
