Rubie looks at a Ruby gemling. She yelps like a puppy. Rubella picks her up and carry her in the bankers they were sleeping in.
500 years later
"Ruby." She jumped little and looks at her soldier mate. "Yes, Black diamond?" She sighed softly. "You still think about 500 years ago when you're a gemling? Ruby, you won't get your answers." She said coldly. "I'm not saying that to negative you but I don't think It's possible." She said flatly but gently. Ruby stared at her and nods slowly. "Yea...you're right. I won't get my answers if I continue to ponder over my past." Ruby said as she puts her right hand on her chin. Black shakes her head and pats Ruby's back. "It's fine. Maybe someday you will find your answers from someone else. That person who you will spend your whole life with." Black diamond said as she smiles at her. Ruby smiles back.

"Ruby!" She snapped out of her trance. She looks at two rubies newbies soldiers. "What?" She said sharply. Younger Ruby stutters. "R-Ruby, madam. We have a assignment." "And...?" "We have to protect Sapphire #1239! She's important for Homeworld." Older Ruby said hastily. Ruby growled at him. He yelps and covered his mouth shut. "Alright then. Rube and Ruoy, let's go to our assignment." Ruby said as she walked away. Rube and Ruoy runs after her.

"Hey buddy." Ruby opened one of her eye to see Black Diamond looms over her. "Hey, man." Ruby said. She smiled at her. "Ruby, you're dawdling on your past? This is not like you, Reddy." Black snickers. Ruby growled at her and throw a small rock at her. Black crackles up. "What's going on?" Two girls glanced at Sapphire floats to them. "Ruby is dawdling on her past." Black said as she holds back a laugh. Sapphire giggles softly. "This is not like of you." "That's what I tell her!" Black crackles up as sapphire giggles. Ruby smiles at two gem person who has helped her find her answers. Even though if some questions are unanswered but at least her questions is answered for now. Ruby looks away from two gems and look at the sky. 'I don't know who's my parents and why'd I was presented to three rubies soldiers to rises me to become a soldier like them. But I am really glad that I have met two important people in my life.' Ruby thought as she glanced at two gems. 'I cared about them as they cares about me.
