"They're fighting again?" "Yeah." Connie sighed heavily as Steven and she was watch Pearl and Amethyst fighting. They're bickering over a stupid thing. They began to insults each other while bickering. Sudden, Amethyst snapped. "Well, at least I am a real gem and not some broken maintenance drone!" She shouted at her before her eyes widen in realizing. "No wait-!" She slapped her mouth shut. Pearl stared at her shocked. Amethyst see that tears welling up in her eyes and she's shaking. "Crap. Crap. Pearl, I'm- I didn't mean-" Amethyst stumbled over her words, tried to apologize to her but Pearl don't want to hear it. She turned around and runs away from them. Amethyst puts her hands on her hair and pulls it out. "Argh! Why did I just said that?!" She said in frustration. "Amethyst...? Is Pearl...a drone?" Connie asked her. Amethyst gulps in nervously. "Yes, she's a drone. I didn't mean it....! I...I don't even think straight...! Pearl..." She said panicked. "Then you go to her and apologize." Three looks at Garnet. "Garnet!" Amethyst yelps. "Apologize." She said sharply. Amethyst nods and runs to Pearl. "I will explain to you two." Garnet said to Steven and Connie. They nods.
Amethyst look at everywhere to find Pearl but can't find her. "Grrrahhh!" Amethyst growled. She went to her messed room. She headed to her bed when she heard a sob. She looks around and scouted over the room. She finally found her sitting by the waterfall and the lake, between the rocks and in the hole. She buried her head on her arms and legs as she sobbed. Amethyst gulps and went to her. She sits down front of her and look at her. Pearl tensed up and peeks out of her arms. Amethyst feel so guilty as she saw her red eyes. "Pearl...I'm so sorry for saying that to you. I didn't mean it. I wasn't even thinking straight. I'm sorry," she says with guilt. Pearl keep staring at her before buried back in her arms. Amethyst shallow and look away from her. "Well...you're right after all..." Amethyst look at Pearl. Pearl laugh bitterly. "I'm really a broken maintenance drone. I'm not even a real gem. I'm useless at everything. I don't have what you do have." Pearl said bitterly. "Pearl...that's not true...." Amethyst said. "I'm not alive at all. I'm not real. I...I am just one of those broken drones from Homeworld." Pearl said bitterly. Amethyst grinds her teeth. "PEARL! DON'T SAY THAT! YOU ARE NOT A DRONE! NOT TO STEVEN! NOT TO US EITHER! ROSE DON'T CHOOSE YOU FOR THAT REASON! SHE CHOSE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE A UNIQUE PEARL AND DRONES DON'T FEEL ANYTHING BUT YOU DO FEEL ANYTHING! YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO US!" Amethyst screams at Pearl. Pearl stared at her shocked. Amethyst sighed in frustration. "Pearl.... You are really important to me...I don't like it when you doubt yourself and I don't like it when I watched you crying and do nothing. I care about you...I..I...I love you..." Amethyst said. Pearl stared at her awhile until she began to whimpers softly. Amethyst was stunned when she started to cry again. "Pearl?! What's wrong?! Was something I said?! I'm sorr-" she was cut off by Pearl tackles her, hugged her tightly. Amethyst stay silent before hugged her gently. "Amethyst..." Pearl began to said. "...I'm so sorry for hurting you. I feel bad now..." she said. Amethyst gulps. "Pearl....It's okay..." "Also..." Pearl looks at her, sniffed. "...I...I love you too...." She said while smiling at her.
I didn't finish this story but I have lost my motivation to finish this so here's unfinished story and I don't think I would finish it.
