#25: What death feels?

Shira was able to have some free time before the second raid. They were all complete. No one died. She called Aika.

Aika: You called, Shira. How I miss you.
Shira: Uhmm.. Me too. Two more raids and we're done.
Aika: I hope everyone will be able to come back.
Shira: Some already died. Naru and Aris' place...almost a half died.
Aika: That's...scary
Shira: Dont be scared. Akame, Rin, Fye, Naru and Shiro will come back.
Aika: and...of course.. You
Shira: Hai

Shira ended the call. Train was hiding behind the doors while listening to their conversation. "Time to go", Train knocked and enter. "You have an amazing team", Train commented. "Once this raid is done, we'll be open to welcome you in our guild", Shira smiled. Train laughed and grabbed the girl out of the room. "So far, none of us died. But... This next battle will be deadly", Train said in a serious tone. "Can I tell you something?", Shira asked. "Of course", Train answered while both of them are headed to the conference room. "This is something I never told Shiro about. Actually...before we headed in this place, I was extremely scared. It feels like my heart is going to burst out of nervousness. Everyone had their partners and I was left with Akashi whom I never had a battle before. I was so scared that I wanted to quit. It wasnt because I'm scared of dying...that's part of it... But... I never saw anyone died in front of me. That's why... Please, let's return in this camp", Shira opened.

"Shira, you're such an innocent girl", Train patted her head. They all gathered in the conference room. Plans were already given. Train and Shira are inside the carriage with Akashi. "Akashi... How's the other parties? I was trying to contact them but they arent answering", Shira asked. "The head party led by Reishi is already done with their quest. We are just waiting for Shiro to complete the map. Afterwhich, we'll abandon HOME and settle in this camps which we conquered. Once they are unsettled by players, monsters will respawn here", Akashi informed. "No way... Abandoning the HOME means we'll be giving greater risk to the players", Shira protested. "Do you think we will be able to sustain these lands with just these number?", Akashi looked into Shira's eyes. "Out of 15,000 players who logged into this game, 6,000 are the only ones left", Akashi informed. Shira's eyes widened. "We have to fill these places with people until we find the boss", Akashi added. Train sighed and flicked Shira's head. "Shira, risk are very important to take", Train smiled. "You havent yet answered me, how about the other party?", Shira asked again.

Esdeath's Party
50 of the party members died on the last raid. They are prepared to go back on their camp. Some stayed to secure the places in order to kill respawning monsters. Rin and Akame went back with Esdeath. "It's finally done", Esdeath sighed as they entered the tent they made as a conference room. Rin and Akame bowed. "Thank you for leading us", they both said in unison. "You really have Shiro's virus dont you", Esdeath chuckled. "Let's go and help the others", Akame suggested. "Sorry, we digged into the rules of this new world. We cannot help another party or aid them...unless everyone is dead", Esdeath's words shocked the two. They went of the tent and tried to contact their guild members.

Shiro appeared in front of them. "Doing good?", Shiro asked. Akame hugged him tight. Fye also went down the Griffon they were ridding. "This was the Griffon which Naru caught", Rin recognized.

Shiro messed with his hair and laughed. "You're getting strong, Rin", Shiro praised. Fye dragged the four of them on a private place. It was a river nearby. They set up a picnic. "If some players sees us. They might get angry, so I decided that we'll have our celebration here", Fye informed. "But... Esdeath said... We cannot help-", Rin was about to say it when Shiro butted. "They are strong! We just have to trust", said the guild Master. Rin and Akame smiled.

C.C party.
Down to 75 members of the party. It's not that they were weak. The location was just hard for them. Monsters disappears and appears. They were given the hardest task. They withdrawn for 2 tries. It's the last monster to defeat. They asked C.C to stand on the platform. "Why isnt help coming?", they complained. "They are busy... They also have tasks to do", C.C answered. "Lie! They are already done", some shouted. "Give us some reasons. We have to add numbers or else we will all die!!!", one stood up on the platform. Aris and Naru protected C.C.

They brought her inside the tent. "If I may ask, what is the reason why we cant ask help?", Naru asked. "The raid cannot be abandoned nor get help from other players. The raid will only be completed until we all die", C.C answered. Aris was shocked. "Why are you in shock? We will not die", Naru said in irritation. "Shiro gave us this task because he trusted us", Naru reminded Aris. "We just have to tell them the truth", Naru suggested. "Are you nuts? They will not fight if we say that", CC said. "You dont understand boys at all", Naru smiled at her.

Naru and Aris stood up with C.C at the platform. "Attention guys!", Aris called them. "There's an important news from Naru", Aris added. "I want to inform all of you that help is not coming. If you just depend on other , what kind of men are you. Let's continue to the fight till the very end. Didnt you join this raid because you have a resolve to see your family? Use that as an instrument not to fear death!", Naru encouraged. C.c smiled and sighed to have two men supporting her. "Let's continue the fight", C.C concluded.
