#36: The Final Stage

Fye and Akashi paired up in attacking Saruhiko. The rest were stunned in shock. "Aris, what is happening?", Aika shook the guy. Aris joined Fye and duels with Saruhiko at once. Some of the players were startled and ran towards the exit but it the whole place was  blocked. An invisible barrier separates them from the  others. "They might be doing this to train themselves", one commented. "Saruhiko's HP is already going down", Enomoto noticed and tried to give him aid but Akame destroyed his staff. "Listen, never move a muscle", she warned the priests. Saruhiko used a special skill of his and paralyzed the three. "Why are you doing this to me?", Saruhiko asked and pointed the sword to Fye. He was about to pushed it deeped into his throat when Kuro's sword came in contact with his. They clashed with their swords. "You are really much like of your brother", Saruhiko chuckled. "Are you also going to be my rival when it comes to Shira?", Saruhiko asked. "Take the three away from us. Elves, try you best to break the barrier. Priest, focus on backing me up. Assasins, there are still monsters respawning, take care of them. Humans, help me bring Saruhiko down", Kuro commanded. No one moved a muscle. "Why?! Can you explain it to us", they complained and demanded for explanation. Shira broke out from the coffin and pointed an arrow to Saruhiko. It reached his heart and his HP went down to 0. Everyone was startled. "Why.. why arent you disappearing? Saruhiko?", Shira asked.

Saruhiko laughed hard and kicked Fye on his stomach. "Woah! I cant believe a righteous man like you can sacrifice human lives so that you could catch me", he chuckled. "Shira, what a stupid mistake to trust this man. You have now accelerated your death", Saruhiko said and his name changed.

Game Master II

"Tch, I can never go away from having this number 2 in my name", Saruhiko sighed. "You want to leave this game?", Saruhiko looked around and asked everyone. "Sorry but we are all stucked here. No one is allowed to go out", Saruhiko had a grin on his face. One of the players just turned into broken glasses. "I also have control in this game, once you dont follow me. You are all dead", Saruhiko looked at Shira. "You have to fight like a man bro", Kuro went in between. "Fight like a man?", Saruhiko clenched his fist and punched Kuro. He raised up his sensitivity level which will also have an effect of his real body in the real world. "One more push in my control system and you are dead", Saruhiko threatened.

The barrier got broken and everyone tried their teleportation gems. The ones who tried to escape died. Only 40 of them remained standing. "You think you already won?", a voice was heard all over the place. It was Reishi's. "What?! I thought you were dead!!!", Saruhiko panicked. "Why act like a chicken, you are already in control of the game. This is how man should deal with their problem, face it", Reishi mobilized Fye and the others. "Pick your best player Reishi! I will have a duel with that person and once I win the game... I will kill you for sure", Saruhiko challenged. "No Saruhiko, I apologized but I also have control over your condition. Once you die here, you also die in the real world. I have a great person working with me right now. He was able to hack your account. Your only choice is to die since that was the original plan of the game... the plan you have created", Reishi explained. Saruhiko wore his best equipment and raised all his stats. "That's unfair", Aika bit his lips. "Shira... you have to finish this game. Just to tell you, Saruhiko killed Shiro", Reishi reminded. Shira changed her armor with a lighter one. She found Train's sword lying down the ground since the owner already died. "I told you to kill the boss with this sword. I guess I have to do it", Shira said with tears flowing from her eyes. Saruhiko paralyzed everyone except Shira using his control system. "Are you serious about this Shira? I will just kill you in an instant", Saruhiko smirked. "You seems to forget who I am", Shira prepared her sword. "I am... your guild master", they start having a duel. The match was one sided. Shira's HP is already half Saruhiko's. Kuro tried to stand but doing so makes his HP degrade. "If I lose this... you are going to continue it", Shira said while looking at Kuro. Shira grabbed on a health potion and tried to drink it. Enomoto assisted her in raising her HP. "Enomoto! Your HP is also going down", Akame noticed. "Your right. If the priest will try to heal you, they will just suck their own life force", Saruhiko explained. "Stop, Enomoto", Shira commanded. "In this game, I can also be hard headed", ,Enomoto smiled at Akame. He turned to broken glasses.

Shira got back on her knees and continued the duel. "I also forgot to tell you. I set a automatic control that every after 5 minutes, my HP goes back to full. Kill me fastly", Saruhiko said in a bored tone. Saruhiko used a special skill and sent Shira flying to where the priest are. One of them also healed Shira and started to loose HP. "I always looked up to you as a commander. Finish this game", he said then vanished. Shira looked at Aika. "Whatever happens... dont heal me! If you do, I will drink the potion and that will alter my memory!", Shira cried. "Come back, alive", Aika nodded. "No one is allowed to talk!!!", Saruhiko shouted. "Let me give you bit of motivation Shira", Saruhiko grabbed Kuro's hair and placed him in an inverted cross. "I will give you 10 minutes... once its over. This will suck up this guys HP. He is the brother of the person you love , right? So bad that you cannot even protect him", Saruhiko raised his chin. Shira held tighter on Train's sword.

They continued the battle and its already 2minutes more before the time ends. Shira got distracted and was sent flying away again.

"When you are faced with a certain battle, you have to clear your mind and think what could be the weak point".

Shira lied down on the ground. "What is it? Am I hearing things because I am about to die?", Shira bit her lips and tasted her tears. Saruhiko went closer to her and stabbed his sword on Shira's chest. Aika was about to heal Shira but she also stabbed Saruhiko's back having her also get caught by the sword. "This is what you call double edged sword", Shira smiled. "You were always afraid that no one would watch your back. Now I know why", Shira pushed Saruhiko making him fall on the ground. "Because you were always that kind of person. I saw your memories just a while ago... you were always envious of Reishi. He was always appreciated and loved by everyone while you spent all your life getting back stabbed. I pity you", Shira walked towards Kuro and started removing him but the chains were too tight. Saruhiko already regenerated. "If only a person like you appeared earlier", Saruhiko gave his HP to Kuro and also released him. Saruhiko looked up the sky and laughed. "What a funny life I had", he said then got shattered.
