Just saying, left a bit of a cliff hanger and also look at the cover on the side! I made it! At least it's better than the one with the Costa cup :P

"May I see your CV please?" He asked me sitting down.
I reached into my bag and pulled out the CV I typed up last night. He took it and carefully examined the CV, flipping through the pages whilst I patted the sole of my feet, removing any dirt on my tights before putting my heels back on.
"It says on your CV that you took part in MUN and that you were a delegate and chairperson and even a secretary general, impressive." He said. I grinned proudly, sitting up a little, holding my chin high. “Sigh, if only it was like mine, all A stars.” He smirked at me. Arrogant much?
He put the folder down and rested his elbows on his glass desk. He placed his chin on his hands which were tangled together.
"Give me one reason why I should give you this job Miss Malik." He said.
Because this job is perfect for me and I would like to show you that there are people better than you such as me. . .
"The reason why you should give me this job is because I am qualified enough to be a journalist. As you can see on my CV my grades especially for English and Media Studies are outstanding. I am very organised and responsible and I will be serious and dedicated to my work. I know how Burke's Magazine can become the best selling magazine."
"Well, Miss Malik,"
"Please, call me Jasmine." I interrupted him and flashed him a smile.
"In that case you can call me Matthew, Matt for short.” He smiled at me.
Matthew Burke. . .
“Jasmine." He repeated. The way he said my name made my body react, in an unusual way but I liked the feeling. Scratch that, I loved it when he said my name.. "I see a lot of potential for you but I have to inform you that you are competing for this job." He informed me. I nodded understanding where he was coming from.
"And my brilliant brain and I have to think about this." He smirked showing off his pearly whites. I mentally scowled, finding his ego irritating.
"I understand fully Mr Burke. I just hope that you come to the right decision." I sent him a fake smile. He carried on asking me a few questions mostly on my additional skills.
"I think that's it for today." He said. He stood up and I copied his actions knowing that it was time to leave.
"Thank you for the interview." I shook his hand in politeness.
"I'll inform you on what happens. If I could have you number so I can contact you. . ." His voice trailed off.
I nodded and dug my hand into my purse searching for my phone. I unlocked it and saw various messages from Kelly, Amir and my parents. Ignoring them I looked for my number.
"Here you go." I said, holding my black Sony Ericsson in front of him. He quirked an eyebrow at my phone.
I shrugged. He tapped on his iPhone 5S and saved my number.
