I always thought that the weather had a huge affect on a person’s mood and that the weather could change depending on a person’s mood.
I know weird right?
But today I actually believed that.
Whilst Matt and I were not talking to each other, it had been raining cats and dogs but once we sorted out our dilemma, the sun shone across London . . . or at least on me.
I was in a good mood and I was happy.
"Stop here," I told Matt once we were 2 streets away from my street.
He stopped and looked at me confused, "but that is not on your house," Matt pointed out confused.
"I told you to stop here so I could do this," I exclaimed and slammed my lips against his. I couldn't do this in front of my house because knowing Ammee she would've been peeping through the window waiting for my arrival.
"I knew you a brain in there," he prodded my head and teased me.
I scowled and bit the finger that harassed me with.
He yelped as I let go, smirking evilly. He opened his seat belt and looked at me with a mischievous glint shining in his bright blue eyes.
He straddled on top of me, his eyes burning into me.
He leaned in slowly, tediously. I slowed my eyes waiting for the impact of his luscious lips against mine but instead I felt his fingertips tickling my torso.
"Stop," I screamed, tears rolling down my face.
He finally stopped after tearful pledges. He looked at me, his lips pressed against each other into a thin line, his expression unreadable.
I looked at him wearily; I hated it when I couldn’t read his expressions. He caressed my cheek, his head cocked to the side as he gazed at me. He kissed me on the lips lightly and pulled away grinning.
“Oh Miss Malik, the things you do to me,” he whispered.
Matt was interrupted by the Doctor Who theme tune blasting out of my phone. I heard Matt growl as he positioned himself back on the driver’s seat and I picked up.
“Salam Ammee,” I greeted her politely.
“Walakhum wassalam wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu, tum kaha hu Beti?” Mum asked anxiously.
I rolled my eyes, “I’m just around the corner,” I informed her and Matt turned left, parking in front of my house.
I thanked Matt and walked out of the car where I saw Mum waiting outside. She practically ran and hugged my tightly. I rolled my eyes but hugged her nonetheless.
