I don't know when Jasmine's past will be revealed. . . maybe in this chapter or maybe the next ;)
You just have to read on to find out ;P
But I know everyone will enjoy this chapter, especially the ending!
Also I think I know how this story ends! Let's just hope I get it done by the Watty Awards 2013! My personal deadline is 5th November! :D
Anyways. . .

I'm pretty sure if a dead man could smell; it would've woken up in an instant to follow the sensational smell.
The smell of vegetable soup was what made my brain start to regenerate after a long sleep. I blinked several times and stretched. I sighed as I sat in bed; a bed that wasn’t mine. I looked at the mirror and saw that my face was clear from all dirt from the hobos’ touch. My hair was a bit damp, nearly dry however cold.
I gasped as I looked under the sheets to see me in a pair of shorts and the black tank top I had underneath. I touched the shorts and knew they were Matt’s. I didn’t wear shorts and if I did my shorts wouldn’t reach up to my knee caps.
I sniffed the air and decided to follow the strong aroma. That was the only way I was going to get more answers. I walked out of the magnificent bedroom and into the passage way. White blinded me yet again.
What was it with him and white?
However there were aspects of white gold, magnolia and autumn colours around the hallways. I decided that the food could wait for later. I had a chance to explore Matthew Burke’s house whilst he was cooking.
I decided to gloat across the current floor I was on. I wondered around to see several empty rooms which had not been accompanied. There were at least 4 rooms which were decorated nicely, however empty. The fifth room I peeked into was huge, but not as large as Matt’s room.
It was a huge library with over thousands of book stored neatly into shelves with 4 ladders going right to the top. In the middle there was a huge desk with papers scattered all around. On the wooden boards, there were small piles of thick books which were probably over 1000 pages.
Unlike all the other rooms, this room was quite old fashioned. From what I could see, it smelt of old books and everything was made of wood, not glass which Matt would’ve chosen.
The only thing I could see was the huge sparkly crystal chandelier in the middle which was at least 20 metres in the air. It glittered, reflecting light to my eyes. There was a calm fire burning brightly at the other end of the room.
I looked right to see a lantern. I grabbed the bronze lantern and looked for some matches by touching the shelf where the lantern rested. I found them and carefully I lit the lantern, making sure I didn’t drop the flame on the little wooden stick. After successfully lighting up the lantern I lit up the large candles on the edges of the library. This was a difficult task as the candles were quite tall. Once I lit all the candles I smiled in satisfaction as I got a good gaze the library. Unlike all the other rooms, the library was shaped into a circle, a cylinder even. That explained the cylinder structure on the outside of the house.
