Donna's POV:
I opened my front door and put my keys in the little basket besides the door. ''Mum, I'm home.'' I yell. I take off my coat and throw it over a chair. ''Mum?'' I yell. I drop down on on my couch and grab the television remote control off the table in front of me. ''Guess she isn't home yet.'' I mutter I turn on the tv and decide to watch some stuff when a sudden sound at my front door catches my attention. ''Hello?'' I say as I get up from the couch and walk over to he door.
"A letter?'' I sneak closer to the door and grab an old looking letter of my doormat. I turn it in my hand and look at the dark red seal. ''Miss. D. Kingsley...wait, that's me.'' I turn the letter around again and carefully break the seal.
Dear miss. Kingsley,

I can feel a huge smile spreading across my face. "I can't believe I can finally go buy a wand and be a witch like mom!'' I yell as I run over to the phone and quickly dial her mobile number.
...
...
''Hello?''
''Mom, mom, I got the letter!''
''You did! I'm so proud of you sweetheart. I'll be home soon so we can go shop for supplies.''
''Yes yes! Thank you! Bye mom.''
''Bye.''
...
I can't wait to tell Dave. His mom is a witch too and one of mom's friends. I'm sure he got his invitation too. For now, I'll just wait till mom comes home. I can't wait to go shopping for supplies.
~Later~
''Mom, where did you say this place was again?'' I ask my mom as I wrap my arm around hers. I've never been to this part of London before and it looks kind of scary. ''It's called Diagon alley, and we're almost there.'' My mom says. Suddenly she pulls me into a shady looking cafe. ''Mom, what are we do-'' ''Hey there Carrie, long time no see. How's life going for ya'?'' The man behind the bar suddenly yells to my mom. ''Life's been good Argus. But I can't stick around to talk right now. I'm here to take my daughter shopping.'' My mom says. She pulls her arm away a bit to reveal me. I smile sheepishly at the bartender and wave. ''Hello sir.'' I say. ''Hey there little girl. You've sure got a cute one there Carrie, The boys will be all over her I'm sure.'' The bartender replies. I giggle. ''Thank you sir.'' I say. ''You're welcome little one.'' The bartender says. ''Come on now Donna. You wanted to shopping didn't you.'' My mom says. ''Yeah, of course.'' I say as throw my hands up in the air. A soft chuckle flows through the cafe. My mother laughs as well. ''Alright, let's go then.'' My mom says as she pulls me towards the back of the cafe.
''Mom, this is a wall.'' I say while looking at the brick wall in front of us. My mother chuckles. ''When you're going to Hogwarts, you're gonna have to learn to look at things a little differently.'' My mom says as she take her wand out of her bag. It's a pretty laurel wood wand with a unicorn hair core. Wands have always interested me. She softly touches a few bricks in front of us in a different order. Suddenly the wall breaks open revealing a bustling street with shops every where. ''Wow.'' I exclaim as my mother takes my hand and leads me into the street. ''Where do you want to go first? We need to buy you a cauldron, pick up your books and your robes, swing by the pet shop where I will allow you to pick a pet and, of course, you need a wand.'' My mom says. ''I get a pet!'' I yell. My mom nods. ''Awesome!'' I grab my moms arm and pull her towards a shop with tons of animals outside.
''What can I pick?'' I ask as I dash into the pet shop. ''A cat, an owl, a rat or a toad.'' My mom says. ''But since we've already got our family owl Felles, which you can use, I recommend you don't buy another owl.'' My mom says. I nod and immediately skip over to the cat section of the shop.
About half an hour later I walk out with a white cat in a box besides me and a huge smile on my face. ''What are you gonna call her?'' My mom asks. "I think I'm going to call her Larua.'' I say as I lift up the box and stare at my cat. ''Hey friend.'' I say as I smile at my cute kitten. Larua meows at me softly. I squeal and press my face against the little cage. ''You're so cute.'' I whisper. ''Come Donna, let's get you a wand.'' My mom says. I lower Larua and follow my mother.
I enter the shop and immediately all the sound from outside gets cut out. The entire shop looks empty. ''Hello?'' I speak up. Suddenly an man looking around his 40 jumps up from behind the counter. ''Hello mis, can I help you.'' Even though he is kind of young, his hair is snow white. ''yea uhm, I'm here for a wand?'' I say. The man snips his fingers. ''Of course. let's see.'' The man says before he bows towards me. I stumble backwards a bit. ''Don't worry kiddo. I'm just looking...ah I know.'' The man suddenly makes a little jump and stumbles into the back of his shop. A few seconds later he returns with two boxes. "Either will work, I'm certain. But the question here is. Which one feel good?'' The man asks. I take a step forward and hover my hand over the two boxes. When my hand moves to the second one the top suddenly pops off and stick against my hand. I chuckle and put down the top before picking up the wand that was inside. It's a pretty light wood, supposedly maple, with tons of of carvings in it on the handle. The tip is a little crooked. ''It's a-'' ''Maple wood wand with a...phoenix feather core, roughly twelve inches with a slight yielding flexibility?'' I say while weighing the wand in my hands. ''Twelve and a half inches actually. You sure know a lot about wands though. I'm impressed kiddo.'' The man says. ''Thank you, I find wands very fascinating.'' I say. The mans face lights up. ''May I have your name little girl.'' The man suddenly says as he scrambles and grabs a huge book from bellow his counter.
''My father remembered every wand he ever sold. I do not. I need to write everything down.'' The man says. I chuckle. ''It's Donna Kingsley sir.'' I say as I make a slight bow. ''Donna Kingsley the man repeats. ''I hope to see you again kiddo.'' The man says. I smile and pay the man. ''I hope so to mister...'' ''Ollivander.'' The man says as he imitates my bow. I laugh and wave at him before walking out the door.
''Did everything go well?'' My mother asks. I nod. ''Well...can I see it?'' My mom asks. ''oh of course.'' I say as I slowly open the box. My mom gasps. ''It's very pretty Donna. What are the materials?'' My mom asks. ''Maple and Phoenix feather.'' I say. My mom smiles at me proudly. ''I would have expected nothing less. Shall we go find the book store?'' I nod. ''Yeah, let's go.''
