Donna's POV:
''Nine and three quarters? Mum...is this a joke?'' I ask as I stare at the the ticket I'm holding. ''Look in front of you Donna, you might crash your cart.'' My mother answers. Dave snickers. ''What are you laughing at pudding brain.'' I snarl at him. ''I'm smarter than you Donna, no need denying it.'' Dave says as he tightens his grip on his cart. ''Oh shut it both of you.'' Dave's mother says. ''Now Dave, Donna, listen carefully. As soon as we reach the entrance of platform 9 3/4 you have to run at the wall between 9 and 10. You have to be determined to get through okay, otherwise it wont work.'' Dave's mom says. ''Yes, yes we know.'' I answer. ''You've only told us like a billion times.'' Dave says making me chuckle. Dave's mom pouts.
''Don't forget to write me when you get there okay? I want a letter at least once a week.'' My mother says. ''Can't I just call you?'' I ask as I touch the phone in my pocket, making sure it's still there. ''I don't think they have cellphone reception at Hogwarts.'' Dave's mom corrects me. ''Oh, well alright then, a letter will do.'' I say.
''Isn't that the wall we need to go through?'' Dave suddenly speaks up. Both of our moms and I look over at what Dave is pointing at. There are two guys with brown hair standing in front of it. They look at each other before dashing towards the wall and disappearing into thin air. ''That's it, well, time to go sweety.'' Dave's mom says while grabbing Dave's head and kissing both of his cheeks at least four times. I laugh and look up at my mom. ''I'll miss you.'' My mom says as she smiles softly at me. I smile back and give her a big hug. ''I'll miss you too mom.'' After a few seconds we let go of each other and look over at Dave and his mom. They're smiling at each other too. ''Seriously don't forget to write okay.'' My mom says as she ruffles my hair. ''Yeah mom, I got it.'' I say as I wave at her and walk over to Dave.
''So...who goes first?'' Dave asks. ''Can I go?'' I ask. Dave nods rapidly. ''By all means.'' He says as he takes a step back to let me line up to the wall. ''Well, here goes nothing.'' I mutter before storming at the wall.
Dave's POV:
I close my eyes for a second and when I open the again Donna is gone. ''Wow, she really did it.'' I say in awe. ''Now it's your turn Dave.'' I hear my mother say from behind me. I turn around once more and wave at her before storming at the wall as well. I close my eyes right before I hit it but instead I go straight through. When I open my eyes again I'm a big platform with a an old fashioned train in front of me.
I look around in awe at all the awesome thing when suddenly I hear a certain asshole calling my name. ''Hey pudding brain! Get over here!'' I look at Donna. She's standing a few feet away and is waving at me like an idiot. ''I'm coming corn head!'' I yell as I start making my way over to her. She flicks me off, letting a big smile spread across my face.
''Ready to get on? I'm sure there are still plenty of great spots left because my mom made us come here twenty minutes early.'' Donna says after we delivered our baggage to the baggage delivery point. I snicker. ''Sure, let's go.'' I say before grabbing Donna's arm and running towards the closest entrance.

Barbara's POV:
"Why. Am. I. Always. Late.'' I mutter as I pass by the different cubicals completely filled with people. What if I'm not going to get a seat now. I start panicking as I pass by, what feels like, the hundredth full cubical when suddenly I see a half empty one. The only ones in there are a boy and a girl. The boy is reading a book and the girl seems to be sleeping as she is laying on her side of the cubical. The girl has two strange low hanging buns with black hair and the boy has brown hair, that looks like he has put way too much effort into, and green eyes. They both look really nice. I sigh in relief as I knock on the door softly. the boys head turns to me. I slowly slide open the door and look at the two in front of me.
