Chapter 9

"He hasn't called for a week now, Demi. Please, for the love of God, don't stare at that phone anymore. It's over. You have to move on!"

"Meddy, how I do that? How I move on from him? I love him!" I scream at her.

"Calm down, sis!" She looks terrified of my scream and I realise that she does not have any fault. I have to deal with my feelings. I have to let him go. He was like a sun shine for me. He comforted me like I was his only care in this world. I saw deep love in his eyes. That love that now is destroying me inside. That love that made me feel happiness for moments that I keep inside my heart.

"I'm sorry." I look at my sister and she looks sad for me. I feel her pain. I kiss her on the forehead and go upstairs into my room.

I see the teddy bear. I start to cry and take it off the floor. Niall gave it to me the night we went to the fun park, on Valentine's Day. I will never forget how kind and careful was with me. It was a perfect night. We had fun and most of it, I loved the moment when started to rain and he took me under his jacket and hold me on his arms for the first time.

That moment I felt safe, loved and protected. Now, hugging the bear, I feel that my heart broke into million pieces. That even though I smile to the others and I pretend that I am ok, inside I feel alone. I only have myself. That I can only count on myself.

My moment of crying was interrupted by the sound of my phone calling. It is Taylor and I answer to her after I erase my tears and calm down a little.

"Hello?!" I answer.

"Hey. How are you doing?"

"Good."

"Where are you? Are you sitting?"

"Yes. What happened?"

"I don't know how to say this to you. But you need to know to see the kind of boy you had."

"What happened, Tay? You're scarring me."

"Niall just got in a relationship with Don, Zayn's sister."

"What?"

"I told you that he doesn't deserve your tears."

"It's been only a week, Tay. I am dying here and he went to Don? Who is even this girl?"

"One of Zayn's bigger sister. We are friends. And I found out who told Niall about that night and also filmed."

"Who?"

"Cara was. That's why she dared you to kiss Louis, so Niall could break up with you and go to Don."

"That whore. She's nothing. And I suppose that Don is her best friend too. Right?"

"Yes. Don told me everything. She must have thought that I won't tell you."

"Wow. I am surprised."

"By?"

"Any person that knows you a little bit knows that when it's about hurting your best friends you don't keep secrets. And most of all you can pretend to be best friends with someone if that someone attacks your beloved ones. I really like your bffs!"

"She's now in this group. She must think that I am the best person in this world." Taylor laughs at her joke. It is a joke because she can be your worst enemy if you do a wrong step or hurt someone she cares about.

"I bet so. Thanks Tay."

"For what?"

"For telling me. I think that I am going to have a last conversation with Niall and this person."
