Sorry for the weird introduction to this new story but, hey, that's teenagers for ya!

"Are you sure we're allowed out here? I mean, isn't this 'private property' or somethin?"

Although they were both having a great time, the direct implication to private property could be heard in Michael's voice (that he knew it was true). Neither boy had done anything that had felt so reckless before, but summer was ending - and the thought of another hellish year was dwelling on their minds.

"Oh yeah, I'm sure the reason you're scared is of getting caught for trespassing," sarcasm was imprinted all over his words, "and not for being seen with me. Totally not like we're gay or going out." Adam screeched out, wanting the entire world to hear.

"Shh," Michael raised his index finger to his own lips, "do you want the whole town to know?"

"Hell yeah I do, Mic!" Adams eyes widened with his voice, deep stress hidden within them.

The young teenagers were lying flat on their backs, on an old blanket Michael had found last minute. But was forgotten as they gazed at the dazzling stars above.

"Adam."

"Yeh?"

"Do you think the sky is the floor of heaven, or the ceiling of it?" Michael said with pure curiosity.

"Wha--" Adam began.

"And, does another star appear when an angel dies, or when one is born?"

Adam sat up right, with his head tilted in the direction of Michael.
"Mic, don't tell me you've been smoking again, cuz you know what happened last time..."

"I told you, just because I was a little bit stoned, doesn't mean it was my fault!"

"What, your car exploded miraculously on its own without you setting fire to it, huh?"

They sat in silence.

"I'm sorry." Adam said.

Michael rose up to be side-by-side with his fellow companion, and gave a slight nudge into his shoulder. "Well, no relationship can have a smooth journey," he chuckled.

"So you want to make this official?" Adam raised an eyebrow towards him, with an embarrassed look returned.

Suddenly, their lips met (with Michael who seemed the keen one).

It was a sensation neither could have imagined - fireworks on the cliff of their mouths. Their bodies and minds felt as one - breathing and feeling each other's adrenaline. Michaels heart hit hard against his bones, until it felt it had been ripped away from his lungs. He leaned back and gasped for a breath he couldn't reach.

Adams eyes were sewn shut, not wanting to open and return to reality. "Damn that was good, Mic."

No reply. No sound. No nothing.

"Mic?"

Adam peeled back the skin which covered his eyes, to find the other  with his mouth gaping open, formed like a silent 'o'. He followed the trail down Michaels chest to find a colossal hole where his heart should lay.
