"Jacob! Baby wake up!" My mom shook me out of my sleep. It looked to be about 8 in the morning and the sun was all in my face.
"Ma, shut the curtain for me?"
She untied the knot and let the curtain down. "Remember you got a date today. Mikey called me an hour ago to remind you."
Last night, I decided to tell my mom how I felt about him. She said she wasn't suprised because she notices how we look at eachother.
"Did you ask him how we gonna get there?"
"He's borrowing Ericka's car since she doesn't have plans today."
I smiled and went in my dresser to get shower clothes. I can't believe today we can finally spend time together. Alone. After taking a shower and getting dressed, I waited on the porch for him while eating my bagel.
"Are you guys already official?" My mom asked.
"No. Hopefully we can be by the end of today."
"You two would make a very cute couple."
"Thank you." I blushed, hiding my face. Sooner or later, Mike rolled up in a black car. "Hi mommy!" He yelled, rolling down the window.
"Hey baby. Take good care of my son. Okay?"
"I will."
"Stay calm, Jacob. Just be yourself!" She yelled out to me.
"Okay, ma!"
I got in the passenger seat and we pulled away from the house.
"How you feeling this morning?" Mike asked with his eyes on the road.
"Oh, im fine. How about you?"
"Pretty good." When we stopped at a red light, we exchanged a few kisses.
"Are you hungry?"
"Not really. I just ate a bagel. That should fill me up."
Mike turned his head, staring at me like I was crazy.
"I dont know where you came from, but one little bagel ain't gonna fill you up. Let me treat you to breakfast."
"But you'll run out of money for our date."
"No I wont. I got about $700 on me right now."
"Okay but dont say that in public. People will try to rob you " I warned.
"They wish!" He laughed and pulled into Golden Corral.
"You're taking me here????" 😍😍😍🌹🌹🌹💍💍
"Yeah. Im not about to let my baby just starve."
It really didn't matter.I love this restaurant and all he's doing for me, but I dont want to seem like im money hungry or anything. "You don't have to do this."
