32. New Feelings

(Im back bitches!!!)

Before Paris walked in the house, me and Zoe jumped behind the couch so he wouldn't notice us. Elijah was still sitting on the porch staring at him in awe. We decided to spy on the two of them as soon as they went outside.

"I can't believe Paris just kissed him!"

"Shhh!!!" Zoe covered my mouth as the front door opened. He walked in and went straight upstairs. I looked back out the window. Elijah laid back on the steps completely spaced out.

"It's like Paris hypnotized him. They are just so cute together."

"They really are." I smiled still looking outside. I never seen Elijah's face glow up the way it did. I've seen him in his happy stages but not like this.

"I'm going outside Zoe."

I stood up and walked on the porch where he was. I sat down and gave him a bear hug.

"Jacob." He spoke softly. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Yeah I know what happened." I already knew what he was going to say.

"What should I do? I don't want to let him in so quickly but he's so tempting. I ain't got time for all this lovey dovey gushy shit if he just tryna play me."

I sat up and pulled out two candy bars and gave him one.

"Well, Don't panic about it. I felt the same way about Mike even though we always been best friends. Just take things slow with him and see what happens from there."

"You were spying on us. Right?" Elijah smirked but didn't wait for me to answer. He knows me so well. "Did you hear the last words he said to me?"

"I couldn't hear anything to be honest. The window was shut."

"Okay. Well, um... He is a good kisser. I told him that. But i'm scared about something."

"And what might that be?" I laid back and drank my imaginary tea. And the shit good too?

"Well, what if one day he wants to have sex? I mean, I'm not a virgin and I know damn well he's not, but I never had sex with a guy before."

"Oh...."

Right. He's not aware of the D and what it does to people like us. How could I forget?

"Well, go with the flow. Okay? You don't have to do it until you're ready. If he forces you at all, tell me and best believe he won't have a dick anymore."

"Okay. I will." He laughed.

As his best friend, it's my job to protect him no matter what. And since this is his first 'growing relationship' with a guy, I'm definitely putting my guard up.

Hopefully I don't have to kill a hoe.

"It's time to eat dinner y'all! Come on!" Zoe yelled to us from inside the house.

We went to the bathroom, washed our hands, then went into the dining room where everyone else was at. There was a huge round table and alot of chairs. (Enough for all of us to sit down. Thank GOD!!!)
