"Mama! Did you call Mikey's mother? I want to go play with him and Elijah today!"
It was 9AM and I was really bored. My mom sleeps for a really long time so I had to wake her up to ask her things.
"Yeah. But unfortunately, you can't because Mike has a fever."

Ooh. That doesn't sound good. But still, I can't go one day without seeing him or Elijah. It makes me sad.
"Where is he? Can I go visit?"
"He's at Strong Hospital. I'll call and ask his mom if you could go visit."
"Kay." I ran off the bed and went in my room. "I guess I'll make him a card." I pulled out some paper and crayons.
"Hmmm...what should I say??"
I stared at the paper in deep thought.
"Bingo!" I threw my arms up when I had an Idea.
Inside the card, I drew a picture of me, Mike and Elijah (the best way I could) playing outside. On the blank side, I wrote

"Jacob! Elijah is here! Yall can hang out until I wake up!" My mom said.
"Okay. Tell him to come up here!"
He came upstairs just when I was finished with the decorations on the card.
"Want to sign your name? It's for Mike. He's sick."
"Alright." He signed his name on the card. We hung out for a few hours until 5:00PM (which was when she woke up.) My mom works all night so she sleeps during the day.
"Yall ready to go?" Sheet made us and Mike some snack bags
"Yeah. We're ready."
When she was driving us to the hospital, my mood started changing. I was just laughing with Elijah 5 minutes ago but the image of Mike sick made me feel sad. I wish he wasn't sick. I hope he's awake. I want to make him smile because I can't see him looking upset. If I see that, I know im gonna end up crying.
