"Hey. Are you gonna go on lunch break?"
Nicki sat by me while I was in the middle of making everyone's school ID cards. Well except the 9th graders. They have to get their pictures taken in about a week or two.
"Yeah. I'm about to go now."
"Okay. Yeah and since we couldn't catch up with everyone properly last time, we have to do it today."
I shut my laptop and stood up. "Do you want me to get them? They should be at lunch."
"Yeah. Go do that please."
On my way there, I saw Paris standing at a classroom talking to my boyfriend. I definitely wasn't feeling how close they were to eachother.
"Hi August!" I smiled squeezing myself between them.
"What y'all talking about?"
"He was asking me what could his cousin do in order to be enrolled here."
"Hmm. Who is your cousin?"
"Her name is Ashlee. She would be starting her sophomore year here."
"Okay. Tell her to bring a legal guardian here tomorrow Any time before 12:00 noon. She has to come with her transcript from her 9th grade year and we can put her in the system.
"Okay. Thanks." He smiled and went down the hall.
"Damn. He really changed." August shook his head.
"You sure about that?" I questioned.
"Yeah. I can tell. He hasn't asked about any of yall. He's been telling me he working on his life and stuff."
"I don't believe it." I saw for myself. Paris makes himself look innocent all the time to cover up the shit he really be up to.
"I ain't believing shit until I see it." I pulled him down and whispered in his ear.
"Oh, by the way, If you don't want me getting fired, I suggest you not to let him anywhere in your presence. You are MY masterpiece. I don't like people that damn close to you."
"You been hanging around Mike too much. Yall way too overprotective." August laughed. "Anyways, you on break?"
"I have to go get the boys. Nicki said we all gotta group up right now."
"Okay cool." August started to walk in the cafeteria, but I stood my ass there until he noticed me.
"You coming?"
"Yeah. When I get some of your loving." 👌😍💯💁
I don't like when my baby doesn't love on me when we see eachother. It makes me feel some type of way. All up in my feelings and shit.
He walked back over and gave me a bear hug.
