I wake up and walk to the bus stop. 5:30 a.m. My watch reads. A lot of time to see grandma Halls grave.
The bus arrives and I sit in the back on the side. We drive through town with lots of traffic. I day dream of the woods.
I imagine what my summer will be like when I camp with Mark. We go swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, star gazing, and lots of other stuff. I smile so big and keep thinking of all we do. But then I hear. SCREEEECH!
BAM! A truck hits the bus right where I'm sitting and I'm thrown across the bus along with several others. The bus rolls and me leg gets caught between dented metal. And everything's black.

Beep beep. Beep beep.
I wake up to this sound.
Beep beep. Beep beep.
It's my heart beat. I open my eyes and find myself in a hospital room. My leg in a cast and oxygen take hooked up to me. I'm weak.
"M.. Mom?" I say.
"Becca! Your awake!" She says as she runs up to me.
"Becca my princess! I thought you wouldn't wake up!" Says my dad as he hugs me.
"Wh... Where's my friends." I manage to get out.
"We just called them, they are all coming over right away." Says my mom holding my hand. "You gonna be ok sweety." She says kissing my forehead. I cry for a while. This isn't a dream come true this is a nightmare I wanna wake up from. My life was good but not anymore.
About an hour after Mark, Amy, and Nate walk in room all holding flowers. They look at me and see my broken leg and me barely breathing. I have bandages over my head and a black eye. I look horrible. Mark walks up to me.
"Becca I'm sorry. I should have come with you and we could have walked." He says. He sits next to my bed about to cry.
"Becca I heard and was crying so hard I thought you were dead." She's says as she cries at the side of my bed.
"I'm sorry Becca, this must be so hard. Here's some flowers." Nate says as he sets them next to Amy's and Marks.
"Th.. Thanks guys. Your good friends." I say with tears in my eyes. I touch Mark.
"Am I gonna be ok?" I ask him. His eyes tear up.
"I hope." He says has he holds my hand.
"Can you two boys leave for a moment?" Asks Amy.
"Sure." Says Mark. Nate follows.
"Becca guess what!"
"Hm." I mumble.
"Nate and I are dating!" She says while almost jumping out of her seat.
"That's.... Cool." I whisper.
"You don't wanna talk much do you?" She says. I shake my head no. "Ok I'll get the boys." Amy goes to get them and goes to the bathroom.
Mark sits by my bed and Nate sits in the couch looking out the window. I hold Marks hand and we sit like that for a while. Nate gives me a hug and goes home at dinner time. Amy stays till 7 and Mark stays till 10. But until he leaves we both fall asleep holding each other's hands. When he leaves I cry. He hugs me for a couple minutes and goes home.
That night I take a while to fall asleep. But realize I'm now a freshman. Haha a freshman. What fun. I finally fall asleep and dream of Woodland. But only of the lake. I'm not there but I'm seeing the lake. I watch the sun rise over it and I wake up to the sun in my eyes. Mark walks in with a bag.
"Hey Becca." He says. I smile. "I get to stay the night with Amy and Nate here in the room."
"Cool." I whisper. We sit by each other and have small conversations. Then Amy and Nate show up.
