Monday I go back to school felling clammy but I survive.
"Becca did you hear?" Says Amy and Nate running up behind me.
"Hear what?" I ask turning away from my locker.
"The party we went to got busted and people when to jail. But Parker left." Nate says.
"He should have been caught!" Say Amy with her arms crossed and a mad look in her eyes.
"I agree but good thing we left." I say.
"We told Mark too." Say Nate.
"Becca lets all meet at the field today ok." Says Amy.
"Ok, I'll tell Mark." I say smiling.
"Ok bye Becca see you later." Says Nate and Amy.
They walk off together and hold hands. They are so cute together.
In class I whisper to Mark,
"Amy wants us to meet at the field. All four of us." I say looking at the teacher so she won't catch me if I'm not looking.
"Ok." Whispers Mark back in a scratchy voice.
We laugh.
"Who's talking?!" Ask Mrs.Kayne. "Tell me who because they can right me an SA on why they think my class is for talking." She says madly. "Ok don't tell me, but for future notices. Shut up!" She says.
The class laughs.
She smiles and returns to teaching.
Mark and I look at each other and smile.
At lunch Mark and I walk to the field together and meet Nate and Amy out there.
"So what's up Amy?" I ask her sitting in the grass.
We all sit under a tree.
"So I was thinking..." Amy starts to say. "WE... We were thinking." Says Nate looking at her with a smirk.
"Ok me and Nate were thinking, we should all go on a trip!" Says Amy jumping up.
"A trip?" I ask surprised. "Where?" I say.
"When?" Asks Mark. We both stare at her.
"We could go to the fair grounds in LA right by the beach. It's only a five hour drive." Says Nate.
"Hey my grandparents have a place there! We could all stay there and do the beach and fair grounds." Says Mark.
"That's a great idea!" I say.
We talk more about and go there over the weekend. We miss a day of school but we all are fine.

"I spy with my little eye something............ BLUE!" Says Mark in the back seat with me.
"The sky!" Says Amy looking out the passenger seat window.
"No." Says Mark smiling.
"My shirt!" She says again.
"No." He says again laughing.
"Is it that license plate?" I ask pointing to the one one the car in front of us.
"Yes!" Says Mark.
We all laugh. We have driven for only two hours. Later I fall asleep and so does Amy. I wake up about an hour later on Marks lap and he has his eyes closed and he is smiling. I close my eyes and smile. I take a deep breath. He opens his eyes and sees that I'm awake. He brushes my hair with his hand and then closes his eyes again. Amy sits asleep in the front and Nate just drives and every now and then he'll hold her hand. I look out my window and see the ocean. I pull out my phone and take pictures.
