We don't go out to the lake, or hike or fish because of the rain. We sit in the RV Marks family brought and play games. We cook breakfast and lunch in there and the sky clears up. The sun is still behind the clouds partially but it's not raining. I can't go out because the crutches can't work in mud. I sit on the sofa in there and watch everyone else fish. Mark look at the RV and I look away. He sighs and walks over.

"Becca, wanna join us." He asks from outside the RV.

"I would if u could." I say. Mark walks in and lifts be up.

"Mark!" I say.

"Just trust me." He says as he carries me to a. Chair by the lake.

"Thanks." I say laughing. Mark is taller and is strong guy so this is easy for him to do. He sits next to me and runs is hand through is brown hair. I look at my hair. It's turning lighter brown at the end. My hair is a dirty blonde but with more brown. I look at his eyes and he looks at mine. I love looking into his. They are sky blue. And so are mine. We have so much in common I see why I like him, and why he likes me.

"Mark." I say.

"Yeah?" He says as he stands up.

"Can we talk, alone?" I say. He takes me to the RV and we sit in there alone.

"Mark. I really like you." I say.

"I really like you Becca." He responds.

"I think I... I..." I try to say.

"I love you?" He finishes for me.

"Yeah." I say.

"I love you too Becca." He says.

We look into each other's eyes and hold hands. This is a future I'm gonna have.

I go back to town after the week of camping and see the house next door is for sale.

"Hmm when did this happen?" I ask my parents.

"While we left. The Parkers are moving to Texas." My mom says.

Texas? Wow I'll miss them. Always the family I would babysit for. I'll find someone else, maybe the Millers. I go to my room and put my bag in my closet. I look out my window over to the window of the Parkers. The room is empty. They already left. But their dad is staying in a hotel till they sell it.

About 4 hours later a car pulls up and a realtor car too. I watch to see who it is but the tree in the front is blocking them. I sit on my bed and read a book. When. I read two chapters I check my phone. It's been three hours and Mark texted me.

Is what he sent.

When! Where! Why!

You'll see ;) ttyl

Bye

I sigh loudly. Marks moving great. And we just got together.

             ~~~~~~~~~~~
A week later a moving truck shows up at the house. I grab my crutches. I an only use them when I feel strong enough. I walk outside to find people unpacking a van and the truck. And I see Mark.
"Mark?!" I say as I walk up to him.
"Hey Becca, or should I say. New neighbor!" He says as he hugs me.
"Really?" I say as I hug him back. "This is great!" I help him unpack his van and bring boxes into his room. Or watch him since I can't carry anything. Later I help him put up posters and we put a can phone between our windows. It's the ones with a wire between cans so you can talk to each other instantly. I walk home and have dinner.
"Isn't cool Marks family moved next-door!" I say.
"It's pretty cool, more BBQ's now!" My dads says happily.
"And more moms nights." Mom says smiling.
"And more hanging out with him." I say.
That night me and Mark talk through the phone.
"Are we still working this week?" He asks.
"Yes and I can use my crutches. So we can do more work." I say.
"Well goodnight." I say.
"Goodnight Becca, luv ya." He says. I pause and blush.
"Luv ya too." I say. We wave bye and go to bed.
I dream of Mark and I walking through the woods, the deep would full of wild life and beauty. When we were camping I felt so relaxed and so calm. I felt like I would never leave. But we did. Mark and I left a mark behind. We carved out names into a giant rock by the lake. Now everyone will now we were there and we will always be able to find it and remember that time we spent together. I wake up early when the sun is rising and open my curtains. I see Mark walking out of his room to go get ready for Woodland. I should do the same. I wear skinny jeans and a T-Shirt. I grab my phone and head to breakfast. I slowly go down the stairs with my crutches and go sit at our table.
"Morning honey." My mom says as she sets a waffle and bacon in front of me.
"Sleep well?" Asks my dad as he reads the paper.
"Yep, best I've slept since the accident." My dad chuckles.
"C'mon honey." My mom says as I finish breakfast and we head off with Mark to Woodland.
