You sat in the police station while one of the cops tried to comfort you about what happen. You had woke up to the sound of a door slamming shut. You got up and looked outside, no one was there and the vehicles were still in their normal places. You walked around the house, but you couldn't find anyone. You tried to call, but no one answered. All you found was a note on the fridge, which read.

Play your cards right, don't put up a fight, and in the end everything will be alright.

You contacted the cops and they were at your house in what seemed like seconds. They searched the house and had you come down to the police station.

"Hello, (Name)." Light said. He walked over to you with a smile. "You're going to be living with my family and I."

'Eh? How are you going to give me apples if (Reader)'s around?' Ryuk ask, which Light simply ignored.

"Until we find your family." The officer added.

You knew he was just trying to make you feel better. You knew there was only a very slim chance of them being found. You had heard the cops over talking that it might have been Kira. You began to go into another break down, but Light quickly pulled you into a hug and stroked your hair.

'It's okay. Shh...Shh." Light whispered into your hair.

You felt yourself relax as he hugged you tighter. You didn't understand why, but his hug made you feel warm and fuzzy. It made you feel SAFE.

'Ha. Is Kira getting soft? Dose-'

"It's been a long night for both of us, let's head to my house."

You nodded and Light wrapped his arms around your shoulders, holding you close. He's such a sweet guy. You followed him to his house and he took you upstairs. He opened a door that appeared to be his bedroom.

"Your room hasn't been set up yet, so you're going to sleep in my bed. I can sleep on the couch if you want."

Just as he suspected, you didn't reply. Since the 'accident' you had stopped talking. He turned to head towards the door, but you grabbed his sleeve. He turned to look at you, surprised. You moved over on the bed and tugged his sleeve again. Light smiled.

"You want to me stay in here with you?"
