Chapter Twelve- Tell Me Everything

AUBREY

Aiden picked me up and set me in the front seat of his truck.

"Iguess I'll see you later." Domenic said.

I just kept stairing out the dash window, refusing to acknowledge him.

"If you need anything, just say so okay?" He said, "okay?" he asked again.

I gave a quick nod, he sighs and leans in and kisses my head.

I squeezed my eyes shut and fisted my hands, afraid I would cave.

Shutting the door behind him he waves, I don't.

"Well, time to go home." Aiden says starting up the truck.

I sigh, his home, not mine.

The ride to Aiden's was quick soon I was being carried to my room. I pretended to be asleep so I wouldn't have to talk to Aiden, or any of the crew that fawned over me. Specifically Paula.

I stared at myself in the mirror, shocked at how pail I looked.

I rewrapped my arm in the stuff the doctor gave me then headed to my bed grabbing my computer on the way.

I sat down and checked my facebook, I had four messages.

The two from Samual read, "HAAAAAAAAAY PPPSSSSSSSST HEEEEEEY! What you doin'" I laughed, the next said, "FINE BITCH DONT ANSWER ME! I WILL SHUN YOU!! SHUN!! SHUN THE NON BELIEVER!!"

Kaity said, "Samual told me I'm supposed to shun you? .....um......why? (:"

Lastly I had a message from Ian, "Hey......How's It going? I haven't heard from you in a while and well......I'm starting to get worried. Well how's the school? Do you like it there?...........Do you think you will ever come back here? We miss you.......I miss you..."

I smiled, happy someone missed me and was worried about me, even if it is my ex.

"knock knock are you awake?" Beth said walking into the room and shutting the door behind her.

Dang it. Can't I be left alone?

She smiled at me gently, "I came to see how you were doing." she said handing me one of the two cups of hot chocolate she had then sitting on the bed beside me.

"I'm fine." I grumbled and took a sip.

She nodded sceptically, "and how's your brother?"

"fine."

She sighed, looking at me curiously, " Are you mad....at us? For what we are?"

"No." I said, a little confused with myself. Why was I so upset anyway?

"Good, because we can't change it. We are who we are. But even if I was human I would wish to be Lupi. It is a blessing a gift, even though it may seem like a curse to you."

I nodded, looking at my drink.

"If that is not why you are upset then what is?"

I shrugged my shoulders.

"It's okay to back out for a while. You're overwhelmed, most would be in your situation. But you can handle it, you're strong. Just take it one day at a time." she said soothingly.

I nodded, still looking at my hands. "I'm so confused. I don't know how I should feel or think about this." I whispered.

"However helps you through it, but you must understand, we are this way simply because we are, there is no changing it. Live with it or don't. But we cannot and would not change."

"Am I in danger?" I asked seriously.

Beth immediately burst into laughter. "Oh I'm sorry your serious......no you are not in danger. If anything you are more protected. But no one would even be able to look at you wrong if you came to live with us. If you ever need a place to stay you are always welcome in my home and my pack."

I smiled at her, "Thank you.....but are you sure? That I am completely safe?"

"Oh absolutely. Domenic will never let anyone or anything hurt you again. You are in good hands my dear. He will protect and love you tell the end of you lives. I promise you that."

What? "What exactly does Domenic have to do with any of this?" I asked completely confused.

The woman smiled sweetly, "He will tell you in time dear, but just trust you're instincts. Just go with the flow." She said giggling to herself.

I started to ask further but she interrupted me, "Oh look at the time! I really must be going! If you need anything just call me, you have my number." The she quickly left.

Hmm.....well that was rather odd. I sighed, I need to talk to Aiden.

I knocked on his office door, "Come in Aubrey." I heard him say.

I push the door open peeking in, "How did you know it was me?"

"I could smell you, everyone has a unique smell." I nodded and sat down in the chair in front of him.

"What is it you need angel?" He said curiously, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms over his chest.

"Tell me." I commanded shyly.

"Tell you what?" He urged me.

"Everything. Tell me everything."

He smiled to himself and gave a curt nod.

Then leaning forward he started to do exactly like I told him.
