Chapter Seventeen-What's Going On?

I couldn't help but to take notice to Aubrey's condition.

She had huge bags under her eyes and smelled of stress and sorrow.

Something was wrong, I need to get her alone to talk to her but she's always with that...thing.

I told her not to hang out with that girl, it makes her look bad, makes her look weak. Atleast in the eyes of the council and other Alphas.

The members of the pack seem to envy that girl, all yearn for attention from thier Luna.

And she seems to be giving her sole attention to her. 

Aubrey doesn't even pay attention to me! I think something must be seriously wrong, I can smell her blood sugars are low, and she isn't eating her pizza.

She's just staring at it and every once in a while nibble or pick at it.

Oh shit......here comes Matt. 

A-Awww he had to dump that water on Lilly. Itiate.

Aubrey stood up and threw her food at him and seemed to be yelling at him.

My eyes grew wide, listening to her be so cruel to him. 

He just wanted her attention, and then she says THAT to him. Poor guy.

Lilly and Aubrey are talking about.....something.

I listen for her heartbeat and hear it increase drastically. Hmm....

I listen close....they are talking about.....change through the bite?

I listen harder and hear her heartbeat increase again as Lilly asks why she wants to know that.

She lied when she said "no reason" Why? is she wanting to try and change someone?

That is against the rules, the laws of our being.

If she tried to change someone and.....others found out...they could hurt her or worse kill her.

I stand unable to sit any longer.

I need to figure out what's going on. Now.

That little shit is following me. I can tell.

I sat in my 

"Can I do seventh period class beside Dom, only besause Lilly isnt here. 

I don't know where she is..hmm..oh well.

"Your not nearly as sneaky as you think you are" I whispered at him.

He gave me a quick look, "Neither are you."

I gave him a "I don't know what your talking about" look.

He replied back with a "Really" look. "I know something is going on. I just don't know what. But I will find out."

I tensed, not wanting him to find out about Tommy. I cant loose Tommy so I will do what I have to, to keep him safe, and if that means breaking the rules then...well I'll do it.

I looked to my hands and saw them start to shake, Dom saw too and suddenly looked worried.

"If I wanted you to know I would tell you." I said simply and grabbed my books and walked out of the class.

I grabbed my keys and ran to my truck.

I got in and drove to Tommy's care center, in his room was his caretaker sitting beside him.
