"Andere! Ilthaniel! Let your poor father up." Ruive scolded her two sons.

The two boys smiled at their mother sheepishly as they climbed off their breathless father. Since their first son, Andere was born, Legolas and Ruive were blessed with another son whom they named Ilthaniel. Andere looked very much like his father even at the age of 9, he had silvery blond hair that brushed his shoulders and bright blue eyes. Ilthaniel, on the other hand looked very much like his mother, he had her dark, golden hair and light blue eyes that were almost green. The two boys rushed to their mother and threw their arms around her, mindful of the growing bump in her stomach. Ruive laughed as she ran her fingers through their hair, both of them stood at her hips despite having two years between them they were much the same in height.

Legolas, who had finally managed to get to his feet again, walked over to his wife and two sons. Legolas dipped his head to press a quick kiss to Ruive's lips, to which their sons both gagged and ran away. Legolas and Ruive laughed at their antics and watched as they picked up their abandoned training swords and swung them at one another sloppily.

"They are both very much like you when it comes to that." Legolas chuckled, his hand subconsciously finding its way to the small bump in Ruive's stomach.

Ruive smiled and shook her head, she reached up and brushed a strand of Legolas' hair behind his pointed ear. "I'm afraid so."

Legolas hummed in response, his thumb rubbed over her stomach lightly.

"Ada?"

"Yes, Ilthaniel?"

"Who is the better fighter out of you and Naneth?" (Mother)

Ruive and Legolas shared and uncertain glance. Neither were entirely sure who was more skilled, of course Ruive yielded to Legolas the one time they fought each other, but he had not fully beaten her.

"Well... We are not entirely sure, we only fought each other once and while your mother yielded, I never properly defeat her." Legolas explained

"Can we find out?" Andere asked excitedly.

Ilthaniel nodded vigorously agreeing with his elder brother. The two boys looked up at their parents with pleading eyes.

"As much as I would love to beat your father in front of you two, we cannot risk hurting your little brother or sister." Ruive elaborated, placing her hand over her stomach.

The two boys let out a disappointed, but understanding huff and nodded before returning to their own battle. Ruive smiled at her sons and turned back to Legolas who was looking at her with his arms folded over his broad chest and a challenging brow raised.

"You would love to beat me in front of our sons?"

"Why of course." Ruive replied, she placed her hand on his cheek, tracing his sharp cheek bone with her thumb. "Even after birthing three children, I could still beat you."

"And what makes you so certain?" Legolas challenged.

"Because, Love..." Ruive leaned up and placed a kiss on Legolas' cheek, whispering in his ear, "I know all you tricks."

With a quick wink and a cheeky smile Ruive walked away leaving Legolas with a dumbfounded expression.

Ruive was laying on her bed, a book in one hand and the other tracing circles on her enlarged stomach. Being 7 months pregnant, there were only so many things Legolas would let her do, reading was one of the few. Ruive smiled and let out a little giggle when she felt a light thump against her palm.
